Align your resume to resale platform systems
The RealReal runs complex inventory, authentication, and order management systems specific to recommerce. Frame your BSA experience around ERP integrations, OMS workflows, or marketplace platforms rather than generic enterprise IT to signal immediate domain relevance.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before accepting interviews
E-Verify enrollment is a prerequisite for employers sponsoring F-1 OPT. Before investing time in the interview process, verify The RealReal's E-Verify status directly through the E-Verify employer search to avoid late-stage surprises if you're on OPT.
Target roles tied to platform infrastructure projects
The RealReal periodically expands its tech stack as it scales recommerce operations. Business Systems Analyst openings tied to active system migrations or integrations are more likely to come with sponsorship intent than backfill roles with narrower scope.
Get your LCA wage level documentation ready early
DOL prevailing wage determinations for BSA roles in San Francisco can reach Level III or IV. Gather documentation of your compensation history and responsibilities before the offer stage so your employer can file the Labor Condition Application without delay.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open BSA roles at The RealReal
The RealReal posts Business Systems Analyst positions across multiple functions with varying sponsorship signals. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for sponsored openings at The RealReal so you're not manually sifting through postings with unclear visa support.
Negotiate H-1B premium processing into your offer
USCIS premium processing reduces H-1B adjudication to 15 business days. For a BSA role with a defined project start date, ask during offer negotiation whether the company will elect premium processing, since standard timelines can conflict with onboarding schedules.

Find Business Systems Analyst at The RealReal JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does The RealReal sponsor H-1B visas for Business Systems Analysts?
Yes, The RealReal has sponsored H-1B visas for Business Systems Analyst roles. Sponsorship availability can vary by position and team, so the strongest approach is to apply to roles that explicitly list sponsorship support and confirm intent during the recruiter screen. Roles tied to active platform build-outs tend to come with stronger sponsorship commitment than steady-state operational backfills.
How do I apply for Business Systems Analyst jobs at The RealReal?
Applications go through The RealReal's careers page. Migrate Mate also surfaces sponsored BSA openings at The RealReal in one place, so you can filter for positions that align with your visa type before applying. Tailor your application to highlight experience with e-commerce systems, OMS platforms, or marketplace workflows, since those map directly to what The RealReal's BSA teams own.
Which visa types does The RealReal commonly use for Business Systems Analyst roles?
The RealReal supports H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways for Business Systems Analyst positions. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates entering BSA roles, while H-1B is the standard long-term path. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying BSA classifications under the USMCA.
What qualifications does The RealReal look for in Business Systems Analyst candidates?
The RealReal typically looks for candidates with experience in business requirements gathering, system integration analysis, and cross-functional stakeholder management. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, or order and inventory management tools is a strong differentiator. A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related technical field is generally expected, and experience in recommerce or retail tech strengthens a candidacy significantly.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take for a Business Systems Analyst at The RealReal?
For cap-subject H-1B petitions, the timeline is shaped by USCIS's annual lottery, which opens in March for an October 1 start date. Standard adjudication after selection runs several months. Premium processing, if elected by the employer, reduces USCIS review to 15 business days. If you're already on H-1B with another employer, a transfer can move faster since cap exemption applies.
