Frame your experience around ecosystem strategy
Apple's Partnership Development teams work across App Store, MFi, and platform integrations. Tailor your resume to show experience managing technical or developer partnerships, not just sales relationships. Reviewers distinguish between revenue-focused BD and ecosystem-building roles.
Target roles tied to Apple's hardware verticals
Partnerships tied to accessories, HomeKit, CarPlay, or health platforms have distinct hiring cycles. Searching by product line, not just job title, surfaces openings that receive fewer applications and align better with your technical or industry background.
Confirm your visa category before applying
Apple sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT for this function, but the right category depends on your nationality and degree. If you're on OPT, check that your STEM extension window aligns with Apple's typical offer-to-start timeline before accepting an interview slot.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Partnership Development Manager roles at Apple
Filtering by sponsor history and role type matters when you're visa-dependent. Migrate Mate lets you browse Apple's current Partnership Development Manager openings alongside sponsorship details, so you're applying to positions where the path forward is already clear.
Prepare for a structured cross-functional interview loop
Apple's BD interview process typically involves product, legal, and finance stakeholders, not just the hiring manager. Prepare case examples that demonstrate managing complex partner agreements across internal teams, as sponsorship candidates are evaluated on readiness to contribute immediately.

Find Partnership Development Manager at Apple JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Apple sponsor H-1B visas for Partnership Development Managers?
Yes, Apple sponsors H-1B visas for Partnership Development Manager roles. Apple works with outside immigration counsel to handle the full filing process, including the DOL Labor Condition Application and USCIS petition. Because H-1B has an annual cap and lottery, timing your offer cycle to align with the April filing window is critical if you're not already in H-1B status.
Which visa types does Apple commonly sponsor for Partnership Development Manager roles?
Apple sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 (for Chilean and Singaporean nationals), E-3 (for Australian citizens), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), F-1 OPT and CPT, and employment-based Green Cards through EB-2 and EB-3 for this function. The right visa depends on your nationality, degree field, and how the role is classified as a specialty occupation by USCIS.
What qualifications or experience does Apple expect for Partnership Development Manager roles?
Apple typically looks for candidates with experience managing strategic or technical partnerships, ideally within hardware, developer ecosystems, or consumer electronics. A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is generally the baseline. For visa purposes, the degree must align with the specialty occupation standard USCIS applies, so a directly related field strengthens the petition considerably.
How do I apply for Partnership Development Manager jobs at Apple?
You can search Apple's careers site directly or use Migrate Mate to browse current Partnership Development Manager openings at Apple with sponsorship context already surfaced. When applying, tailor your materials to Apple's ecosystem and platform partnerships work. Recruiters screen for role-specific fit before sponsorship is discussed, so lead with your experience, not your visa situation.
How do I plan my timeline if I need Apple to sponsor my visa?
The timeline depends heavily on your visa category. F-1 OPT students should confirm remaining work authorization before accepting an offer. H-1B candidates not currently in status face the April lottery, meaning a fall start date is typical. E-3 and TN applicants move faster, as those visas can be processed at a consulate in a few weeks once Apple's documentation is ready.
