Align your experience with Apple's supply chain
Apple's Procurement team focuses heavily on electronics components, NPI (new product introduction) cycles, and Asia-Pacific supplier relationships. Frame your resume around commodity management, cost negotiation, and direct materials sourcing to match how Apple scopes these roles internally.
Verify Apple's LCA filings before your interview
DOL's Foreign Labor Certification Data Center publishes Apple's Labor Condition Application filings. Searching for Procurement Manager titles in the electronics sector confirms prevailing wage levels and gives you a realistic salary anchor before you negotiate an offer.
Build credentials around Apple's supplier ecosystem
Apple works extensively with TSMC, Foxconn, and Murata. Demonstrating direct sourcing or supplier development experience with Tier 1 electronics manufacturers signals you can operate immediately in their environment, which strengthens both your application and the specialty occupation argument for your visa petition.
Prepare for PERM if targeting permanent residency
Apple frequently sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 green cards for Procurement Managers. If a Green Card is your goal, confirm during the offer stage whether Apple initiates PERM. The PERM process requires DOL recruitment compliance before filing, so understanding the timeline upfront prevents surprises.

Does Apple sponsor H-1B visas for Procurement Managers?
Yes, Apple sponsors H-1B visas for Procurement Manager roles. Because H-1B requires demonstrating a specialty occupation, your application needs to show the position requires a specific bachelor's degree or higher in a field like supply chain management, engineering, or business. Apple's size and established legal infrastructure make them well-equipped to support the full USCIS petition process for qualified candidates.
How do I apply for Procurement Manager jobs at Apple?
Apply directly through Apple's careers site, filtering by supply chain or operations categories. Tailor your resume to reflect direct materials procurement, supplier negotiation, and hardware product lifecycle experience, since those are the functions Apple prioritizes in this role. You can also browse Apple's active Procurement Manager openings with visa sponsorship filters on Migrate Mate to confirm which positions align with your visa category before applying.
Which visa types does Apple commonly use for Procurement Managers?
Apple sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 (for Chilean and Singaporean nationals), E-3 (for Australian nationals), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), and F-1 OPT and CPT for students. For permanent residency, Apple supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. The right category depends on your nationality and current status, so identifying your best-fit visa type before applying helps target the right openings.
What qualifications does Apple expect for a sponsored Procurement Manager?
Apple typically looks for a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related field, combined with direct experience managing commodity sourcing or supplier relationships in the electronics or hardware industry. Familiarity with NPI processes, cost modeling, and Asia-Pacific supply base management is a strong differentiator. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree must align with the specialty occupation standard USCIS applies to H-1B petitions.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take when Apple makes an offer?
Timeline depends on your visa category. H-1B standard processing through USCIS takes four to six months, though premium processing can reduce that to two to three weeks for an additional fee. E-3 and TN processing at a consulate or port of entry can move faster, often within weeks of receiving your documents. Apple's legal team typically initiates the process after your offer is finalized, so factor the full timeline into your start date expectations.
