Frame your resume around data-driven operations
Crunchbase's Operations roles sit inside a data and analytics business, so your resume should lead with process improvement outcomes tied to measurable results. Generic operations experience won't stand out; quantified efficiency gains and cross-functional project ownership will.
Target roles that align with your visa category
Crunchbase sponsors EB-2, EB-3, and TN in addition to OPT, so TN-eligible candidates from Canada or Mexico should flag their status clearly. The TN category requires a direct occupational match, so apply to roles where your job title maps to a USMCA-listed profession.
Prepare for a multi-stage interview focused on systems thinking
Crunchbase Operations interviews typically probe how you build and scale internal processes, not just manage them. Prepare case-style answers that walk through how you've diagnosed bottlenecks, designed solutions, and measured outcomes in a technology or SaaS environment.
Raise sponsorship after receiving the offer, not before
Bringing up visa sponsorship before an offer weakens your negotiating position. Once Crunchbase extends an offer, ask directly whether the role is eligible for sponsorship and confirm the visa category their legal team plans to file under.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Operations roles at Crunchbase
Sponsorship-eligible jobs at Crunchbase don't always appear with clear visa language in the posting. Search Migrate Mate to filter Operations openings by visa type so you can prioritize applications where sponsorship is already confirmed.

Does Crunchbase sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Crunchbase's sponsorship history for Operations is concentrated in categories like EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN. H-1B sponsorship is not prominently reflected in their recent filings for this function, so if your status depends on H-1B, clarify directly with the recruiting team before advancing through the interview process.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at Crunchbase?
Start on Crunchbase's careers page and filter for Operations or related functions. Review each job description carefully for language about work authorization before applying. When you reach the recruiter screen, confirm sponsorship eligibility early in the conversation to avoid investing time in a process that won't support your visa category. Migrate Mate also lists Crunchbase's open roles filtered by sponsorship type, which saves time upfront.
Which visa types does Crunchbase commonly use for Operations hires?
Crunchbase has sponsored Operations candidates through F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, EB-2, and EB-3. F-1 OPT is typically the entry point for recent graduates, while TN applies to qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals. EB-2 and EB-3 are immigrant visa categories that require PERM labor certification and a longer timeline, so they're more relevant once you're already employed.
What qualifications does Crunchbase expect for Operations roles?
Crunchbase Operations roles typically require experience working cross-functionally inside a technology or SaaS company, with a focus on process design, tooling, and operational analytics. Familiarity with CRM platforms, project management software, and business intelligence tools carries weight. For sponsored roles, your degree field should align with the specific occupation to satisfy specialty occupation or PERM requirements set by USCIS or DOL.
How long does the sponsorship and hiring process take at Crunchbase?
The hiring process for Operations at Crunchbase typically spans several weeks from application to offer. If your sponsorship requires PERM labor certification through DOL, add several months for that stage alone before USCIS adjudicates the petition. F-1 OPT candidates face tighter deadlines since authorization is time-limited, so start your job search at least four to six months before your OPT expires.
