Align Your Credentials to Deloitte's Practice Areas
Deloitte's cybersecurity hiring splits across federal, risk advisory, and managed security services. Tailor your resume and certifications (CISSP, CISM, or cloud security certs) to the specific practice area you're targeting before applying.
Pursue Security Clearance Eligibility Early
Many Deloitte Cybersecurity Consultant roles on federal contracts require clearance eligibility. Confirming your clearance status or beginning the process before your offer strengthens your candidacy and simplifies the sponsorship conversation.
Search Verified Sponsorship Openings on Migrate Mate
Filter Deloitte's Cybersecurity Consultant openings by visa type on Migrate Mate to identify which roles align with your status, whether H-1B, E-3, or H-1B1, before spending time on the full application.
Understand Deloitte's H-1B Cap-Exempt Filing Options
If a Deloitte role is placed at a qualifying nonprofit or government research institution, it may fall outside the annual H-1B cap. Ask your recruiter whether your placement qualifies, since cap-exempt roles can be filed any time of year.
Time Your Application Around the H-1B Lottery Window
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, Deloitte must register you in USCIS's March lottery. Engaging recruiters in January or February gives HR enough lead time to include your registration before the window closes.

Find Cybersecurity Consultant at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Cybersecurity Consultants?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Cybersecurity Consultants across its federal and commercial practices. Sponsorship typically covers the initial petition and associated USCIS filing fees. For cap-subject cases, your registration must be submitted during the March lottery window, so engaging with recruiters early in the year is important.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly sponsor for Cybersecurity Consultant roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Cybersecurity Consultants, and supports longer-term immigration through EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways via PERM labor certification. Australian nationals are well-positioned with the E-3, which has no lottery and allows year-round filing, making it a practical option within Deloitte's hiring cycle.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for sponsored Cybersecurity Consultant positions?
Deloitte generally expects a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, along with hands-on security experience. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud security credentials strengthen your application. Federal-facing roles may also require U.S. security clearance eligibility, which directly affects sponsorship timelines and placement options.
How do I apply for Cybersecurity Consultant jobs at Deloitte?
You can browse and apply for Cybersecurity Consultant roles at Deloitte through Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsorship-eligible openings filtered by visa type. Deloitte's recruiting process typically includes an application review, technical and behavioral interviews, and a final offer stage before the sponsorship and filing process begins with their immigration legal team.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Cybersecurity Consultant at Deloitte?
For H-1B transfers from an existing status, USCIS standard processing takes three to five months, though premium processing can reduce this to 15 business days. E-3 and H-1B1 consular processing is often faster. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 is a multi-year process and typically begins after you've established tenure in the role.
