Align your credentials to automation-focused requirements
Dematic's Manufacturing roles lean heavily on systems integration, conveyor technology, and warehouse automation. Certifications in PLC programming, robotics, or lean manufacturing signal direct relevance and reduce employer hesitation when sponsorship costs enter the conversation.
Target roles with specialty occupation designation
H-1B eligibility requires your role to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Manufacturing engineer and controls engineer positions at Dematic typically meet this bar, while general production technician roles may not, so apply to the titles that do.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Dematic openings by visa type
Dematic posts Manufacturing roles across multiple visa categories at different times. Use Migrate Mate to filter active openings by the visa type you need, so you apply to positions where sponsorship is already confirmed rather than guessing from the job description.
Clarify OPT STEM extension eligibility before applying
Manufacturing engineering roles at Dematic frequently fall under STEM-designated SOC codes, which means F-1 students may qualify for a 24-month OPT extension. Verify your degree and role classification with your DSO before accepting an offer to avoid timeline gaps.
Understand where PERM fits for long-term sponsorship
If Dematic moves you toward a Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, DOL's PERM process requires documented proof that no qualified U.S. worker was available. Manufacturing roles with niche automation skill sets tend to clear this bar more reliably than general operations positions.

Does Dematic sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
Yes, Dematic sponsors H-1B visas for Manufacturing positions, particularly engineering and controls-focused roles that qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria. Roles requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific technical field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering, are the strongest candidates for H-1B sponsorship within this function.
Which visa types does Dematic commonly use for Manufacturing positions?
Dematic sponsors a range of visa categories for Manufacturing roles, including H-1B, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students in STEM fields, J-1 for training-based roles, and employment-based Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3. The right category depends on your nationality, degree field, and the specific role you're hired into.
What qualifications does Dematic expect for sponsored Manufacturing roles?
Dematic's sponsored Manufacturing roles typically require a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or systems engineering. Hands-on experience with automation systems, PLC programming, or warehouse technology strengthens your application significantly. Roles involving systems commissioning or controls integration tend to attract the most consistent sponsorship activity, given their specialized technical requirements.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at Dematic?
You can browse and apply for Manufacturing roles at Dematic directly through Migrate Mate, which filters active openings by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. When you apply, tailor your resume to Dematic's automation and logistics infrastructure focus and be prepared to discuss your visa status and timeline clearly during early-stage interviews.
How do I plan my timeline if Dematic sponsors my work visa?
Timeline depends on which visa category applies. TN and OPT activation can move quickly, often within weeks of an offer. H-1B sponsorship tied to the annual cap means you could wait until October 1 for work authorization if you're selected in the March lottery. Starting the conversation with your recruiter early gives Dematic's immigration team time to plan the right filing strategy.
