Align your credentials with automation-specific requirements
Dematic's Operations roles often require demonstrated experience with warehouse automation, conveyor systems, or SCADA platforms. Frame your resume around measurable outcomes in those environments so your background reads as directly transferable, not adjacent.
Target roles tied to active project deployments
Dematic staffs Operations positions around system installation and commissioning cycles. Applying when a major distribution center rollout is in progress increases your chances of landing a role that has both urgency and a longer-term sponsorship runway attached.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
H-1B and TN sponsorship follow different timelines and eligibility rules. Raise your visa situation with the recruiter after a strong first interview, not after an offer, so both sides can confirm which category applies before USCIS or DOL filing deadlines become a pressure point.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Operations roles
Searching broadly across job boards buries sponsorship-friendly postings. Use Migrate Mate to filter Dematic's Operations listings by visa type so you're only spending time on roles where your sponsorship needs are already a known part of the hiring equation.
Prepare documentation for F-1 OPT transitions early
If you're on F-1 OPT targeting a full-time Operations hire at Dematic, have your EAD, offer letter timeline, and OPT end date ready before final interviews. Employers need to plan around your authorization window to initiate H-1B cap filing in the correct registration period.
Understand how PERM shapes long-term sponsorship for this role
Operations positions at manufacturing companies like Dematic frequently support EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways via PERM labor certification through DOL. Confirm during negotiations whether the company has a defined policy for initiating PERM after a set period of employment.

Does Dematic sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Yes, Dematic sponsors H-1B visas for Operations positions. The company has an established pattern of filing H-1B petitions for roles in systems integration, field operations, and supply chain functions. Because H-1B sponsorship requires USCIS approval and is subject to the annual cap and lottery, you'll want to confirm the specific role's eligibility and filing timeline with Dematic's HR team before accepting an offer.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at Dematic?
Apply through Dematic's careers portal directly, or use Migrate Mate to browse their current Operations openings filtered by visa sponsorship type. When applying, tailor your materials to automation, manufacturing operations, or systems integration experience relevant to Dematic's product lines. Flag your visa sponsorship needs in early recruiter conversations rather than waiting until the offer stage.
Which visa types does Dematic commonly use for Operations hires?
Dematic sponsors H-1B visas for specialty occupation Operations roles, TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying positions, and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students. For longer-term pathways, the company also sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards through the PERM labor certification process managed through DOL, which is relevant for candidates planning to pursue permanent residence.
What qualifications does Dematic expect for Operations roles?
Dematic's Operations positions typically require a bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, industrial technology, or a closely related field. Hands-on experience with automated material handling systems, warehouse management platforms, or manufacturing operations is a strong differentiator. For H-1B eligibility specifically, USCIS requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning the degree requirement must be directly tied to the position's core duties.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for an Operations role at Dematic?
Timeline depends on visa category. TN processing can happen at a port of entry in a single day for Canadian nationals. H-1B petitions are filed after the April lottery and take several months under standard processing, or two to three weeks with USCIS premium processing. PERM labor certification for Green Card sponsorship through DOL typically takes 12 to 18 months before an I-140 petition can be filed.
