Does Dematic sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Dematic sponsors H-1B visas and does so with meaningful regularity. The company is particularly active in sponsoring engineers, software developers, and technical specialists working in warehouse automation and supply chain systems. If you're targeting an H-1B with Dematic, roles in controls engineering, software engineering, and systems integration are your strongest entry points.
What visa types does Dematic sponsor?
Dematic sponsors a range of visa types including H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and supports Green Card petitions through EB-2 and EB-3 categories. This makes Dematic a versatile option for international candidates at different stages of their U.S. immigration journey, whether you're entering on a student visa or looking to transition to permanent residency.
Which departments or roles at Dematic typically receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Dematic is concentrated in technical and engineering functions. Controls engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers working on automation systems are the most commonly sponsored roles. The company's manufacturing and logistics automation focus means candidates with backgrounds in industrial engineering, robotics, or supply chain technology are well-positioned.
How do I find open sponsored jobs at Dematic?
The most reliable way is to use Migrate Mate, which filters job listings by verified sponsorship history so you can see Dematic openings confirmed to support international candidates. This is more efficient than general job searches where sponsorship eligibility is often unclear or buried in the fine print of a posting.
How do I approach the Dematic application process as an international candidate?
Be upfront about your visa status early in the process, Dematic has experience sponsoring international hires and its recruiters are familiar with the timeline. If you're on OPT or CPT, clarify your end date so the team can plan around it. For H-1B sponsorship, timing matters: USCIS cap-subject petitions must be filed in April, so your start date and offer timing need to align with that annual window.
