Cloud Software Engineer Jobs at EPAM Systems with Visa Sponsorship

INTRODUCTION

We are looking for a skilled and driven Python Engineer to tackle complex, real-world challenges.

In this role, you will contribute to developing a high-performance platform designed to deliver advanced solutions for data-intensive environments. With a strong focus on performance, reliability, and seamless synchronization, you will play a critical part in ensuring the platform meets the highest standards.

This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full-cycle web application development: design, implement, test, and launch solutions in Python
• Be involved in a code review process
• Integrate with other clients’ systems and applications
• Communicate with the customer to clarify requirements
• Drive the collaboration process with other team members

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Python
• Proficiency in OOP, design patterns and Python coding standards
• Knowledge of relational databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Competency in cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP or Azure
• Familiarity with messaging queues like RabbitMQ
• Background in Docker for containerization
• Understanding of API creation and management, specifically REST API
• Flexibility to operate within Unix-based OS environments including CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Understanding of distributed applications architecture
• Experience in Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
• Familiarity with Django or Flask
• Expertise in software development life cycle and development methodologies
