Frame Your Architecture Portfolio for EPAM's Delivery Model
EPAM operates as an engineering services firm, so Product Architects are expected to lead across multiple concurrent client engagements. Tailor your portfolio to show cross-functional delivery, not just internal product ownership, before you apply.
Target Openings Tied to Named Client Programs
EPAM often posts Product Architect roles aligned to specific industry verticals like financial services or healthcare technology. Applying to a vertical where you have domain depth gets your resume in front of the right delivery unit faster.
Verify Your OPT Remaining Time Before Interviewing
If you're on F-1 OPT, calculate your authorization end date before starting EPAM's interview process. Their onboarding cycle for senior technical roles can run eight to twelve weeks, and a tight OPT window creates filing pressure that can complicate an offer.
Ask Specifically About H-1B Cap-Exempt Filing Pathways
EPAM places architects with certain nonprofit and government clients, which can qualify the petition as cap-exempt. Ask your recruiter early whether your assigned engagement creates that option, since it changes the filing timeline significantly.
Use Migrate Mate to Identify Active Product Architect Openings
Filter for Product Architect roles at EPAM that explicitly list H-1B and Green Card sponsorship using Migrate Mate. Applying through postings that already confirm sponsorship willingness avoids early-stage conversations that stall over work authorization.
Align Your PERM Documentation to a Specialty Occupation Profile
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, EPAM's immigration team will build a prevailing wage and job duties profile through DOL. Prepare documentation showing your role requires a specialized degree field, not just general software or business experience, which strengthens the PERM position.

Find Product Architect at EPAM Systems JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does EPAM Systems sponsor H-1B visas for Product Architects?
Yes, EPAM Systems sponsors H-1B visas for Product Architects. The company has a dedicated immigration program and works with immigration counsel to file petitions for qualifying technical roles. Product Architect positions typically meet the specialty occupation standard given the degree and domain expertise requirements. If your offer is tied to a cap-exempt client engagement, EPAM may be able to file outside the annual H-1B lottery window.
How do I apply for Product Architect jobs at EPAM Systems?
You can browse open Product Architect roles at EPAM Systems through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for positions with confirmed visa sponsorship. EPAM's hiring process for senior technical roles typically includes a recruiter screen, a technical architecture interview, and a stakeholder or delivery panel. Roles are often aligned to a specific industry vertical or client program, so tailoring your application to a relevant domain improves your chances of moving through quickly.
Which visa types does EPAM Systems commonly sponsor for Product Architects?
EPAM sponsors H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Product Architects at various career stages. For candidates seeking permanent residence, the company supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process with the DOL. TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose role qualifies under the USMCA occupation list, which can cover systems architect and engineer classifications.
What qualifications does EPAM Systems expect for Product Architect roles?
EPAM typically expects a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related technical field, combined with several years of hands-on architecture and delivery experience. Candidates who can demonstrate solution design across distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise integrations are prioritized. For visa purposes, the degree-to-role alignment matters because USCIS evaluates specialty occupation based on whether the position genuinely requires that specific educational background.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at EPAM Systems for a Product Architect?
If you're subject to the annual H-1B cap, USCIS registration opens each March for an April lottery selection. A selected petition filed under standard processing takes three to five months to adjudicate; premium processing reduces that to roughly two to three weeks for an additional fee. For candidates already in H-1B status transferring to EPAM, the company can file a cap-exempt transfer petition and you can begin work once USCIS receives it.
