Align Your Credentials to EPAM's Client Delivery Model
EPAM staffs Cybersecurity professionals on client-facing engagements, so certifications like CISSP, CISM, or cloud security credentials strengthen your profile significantly. Tailor your resume to reflect project-based delivery experience, not just internal IT roles.
Target Roles That Map to Specialty Occupation Standards
For H-1B sponsorship, your Cybersecurity role must qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS guidelines. Focus on positions requiring a specific bachelor's degree field, such as information security, computer science, or a closely related discipline, not general IT support roles.
Search EPAM Openings Using Migrate Mate
Filter Cybersecurity jobs at EPAM Systems by visa type on Migrate Mate to surface roles where sponsorship is actively offered. This saves time compared to manually screening job postings that don't disclose immigration support upfront.
Confirm LCA Wage Level Before Accepting an Offer
EPAM files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting your H-1B petition. Verify the offered wage meets the prevailing wage for your specific Cybersecurity role and location, since wage level affects both approval odds and your long-term compensation baseline.
Ask About PERM Timing During the Offer Stage
If a Green Card pathway matters to you, ask the recruiter whether EPAM initiates PERM labor certification for Cybersecurity hires and at what point in your tenure. Some employers start the process earlier than others, and knowing this upfront shapes your long-term planning.
Use OPT or CPT to Build Client Delivery Experience First
F-1 candidates who complete internships or co-ops through CPT in security consulting or professional services are better positioned for full-time H-1B sponsorship at EPAM. Client-facing experience in a technology services environment directly matches the delivery model EPAM uses.

Does EPAM Systems sponsor H-1B visas for Cybersecurity roles?
Yes, EPAM Systems sponsors H-1B visas for Cybersecurity professionals. The company operates as a technology services firm with global delivery teams, and it routinely files H-1B petitions for qualified candidates in security engineering, consulting, and related functions. Roles must qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria, meaning they require a degree in a specific technical field such as information security or computer science.
How do I apply for Cybersecurity jobs at EPAM Systems?
You can apply directly through EPAM's careers portal or browse open Cybersecurity roles filtered by visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate. Before applying, review the job description carefully to confirm the role aligns with your degree field, since USCIS requires a direct relationship between your academic background and the position for H-1B eligibility. Tailoring your resume to EPAM's client delivery context improves your chances of moving past initial screening.
Which visa types does EPAM Systems commonly sponsor for Cybersecurity positions?
EPAM sponsors H-1B visas as the primary work authorization pathway for Cybersecurity hires. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-tenured employees pursuing permanent residence.
What qualifications does EPAM Systems expect for sponsored Cybersecurity roles?
EPAM typically expects a bachelor's degree or higher in a security-related discipline such as information security, computer science, or cybersecurity engineering. Industry certifications like CISSP, CEH, CISM, or cloud security credentials from AWS or Microsoft carry significant weight in their hiring process. Client-facing experience in consulting or technology services environments is a strong differentiator, particularly for senior roles.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Cybersecurity hire at EPAM Systems?
For H-1B sponsorship, EPAM must first file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which typically takes one to two weeks when approved. The H-1B petition is then filed with USCIS, with standard processing taking three to six months. Premium processing, which USCIS offers for an additional fee, reduces that to roughly 15 business days. If you're on OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility to bridge any gap while the petition is pending.
