Responsibilities
- Convert contractor work requests into maintenance work orders and assign them to appropriate external contractors.
- Prepare and issue all required safety work permits for contractor activities.
- Create purchase requisitions in SAP to order parts.
- Contractor coordinator to ensure contractor compliance.
- Schedule and coordinate all contracted preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and calibration activities around production needs.
- Communicate upcoming external maintenance and calibration activities to equipment owners and stakeholders.
- Manage all external equipment calibrations, including tracking status and updating CCMMS records.
- Prepare shipping documentation, coordinate outbound/inbound logistics, and return calibrated equipment to owners.
- Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance performed by internal maintenance and I&E technicians.
- Support SAP maintenance planning activities, including work order time entry and master data updates.
- Ensure all maintenance and calibration work is properly documented, reviewed and compliant.
- Maintain complete equipment history files and promptly communicate any out-of-tolerance results or deviations to equipment owners and QA.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent or higher. Associate’s degree in a technical field is a plus.
- At least 2-3 years experience in a GMP regulated industry, i.e. manufacturing, pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Experience with CMMS & CCMMS software, i.e. SAP or Maximo, etc.
- Strong organizational skills and understanding of cGMP fundamentals.
- Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, & Lotus Notes.
- Works well in team environment and with cross-functional teams.
