Job Roles at Linde Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Linde Visa Sponsorship USA
Target engineering and technical roles first
Linde's sponsorship activity is concentrated in highly specialized technical functions, including chemical engineering, process engineering, and industrial gas operations. These roles align directly with the specialty occupation standard required for H-1B approval, making them your strongest entry points.
Understand Linde's Green Card pipeline
Linde sponsors Green Cards through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways, which typically follow established H-1B employment. If long-term U.S. residency is your goal, ask during the hiring process how the company handles PERM sponsorship for high-performing employees in your function.
Leverage F-1 OPT and CPT to get a foot in the door
Linde participates in F-1 OPT and CPT hiring, which is a practical way to build internal credibility before H-1B sponsorship. Internships or early-career roles in operations, R&D, or engineering can establish the track record that supports a future petition.
Canadian and Mexican nationals should explore TN eligibility
Linde sponsors TN visas, which is especially useful for Canadian and Mexican engineers and scientists. TN classification requires a qualifying role from the USMCA occupations list and avoids the H-1B lottery entirely, making it a faster, lower-risk path.
Align your application with Linde's core business verticals
Linde operates across industrial gases, clean energy, healthcare, and large-scale engineering projects. Candidates whose background directly supports one of these verticals, such as process safety, cryogenics, or hydrogen production, have the strongest case for sponsorship consideration.
Browse verified Linde openings on Migrate Mate
Not every job listing signals genuine sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find Linde roles where international applicants have a realistic shot, saving you time on applications that go nowhere.

Does Linde sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Linde sponsors H-1B visas. The company has a consistent track record of filing H-1B petitions, primarily for roles in engineering, chemical sciences, and technical operations. H-1B sponsorship is most common in positions that require a specific degree field and involve specialized industrial or process knowledge. Candidates coming through OPT or CPT often transition to H-1B with Linde after demonstrating performance in the role.
Which visa types does Linde sponsor?
Linde sponsors H-1B, TN, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. The company also participates in F-1 OPT and CPT hiring, making it accessible at multiple career stages. TN sponsorship is available for qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible occupations. Green Card sponsorship typically follows an established period of H-1B employment within the company.
Which departments or roles at Linde are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Linde is concentrated in technical and engineering functions, including chemical engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, and R&D. Roles tied to Linde's core industrial gas, clean energy, and large-scale project businesses are the most active. Corporate functions such as finance or HR are less commonly sponsored. Candidates with backgrounds in STEM disciplines aligned to Linde's operational verticals are best positioned.
How do I find open jobs at Linde that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find Linde roles where visa sponsorship is a realistic option. Rather than manually filtering generic job listings, Migrate Mate surfaces positions from verified sponsors with a real history of filing for international candidates. You can browse Linde openings directly and assess fit before investing time in the application process.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored by Linde?
The strongest applications for Linde come from candidates whose degree and experience directly match the technical requirements of the role, particularly in engineering or physical sciences. If you're on OPT or CPT, pursuing an internship or early-career role at Linde is a well-established path to H-1B sponsorship.
