Target scientific and research roles directly
Frontage's sponsorship activity is concentrated in laboratory, analytical chemistry, and pharmacokinetics roles. Focus your applications on positions that align with your scientific background rather than administrative or support functions, which are less likely to attract sponsorship consideration.
Understand which visa types Frontage supports
Frontage Laboratories sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT visas, as well as Green Card pathways. If you're on OPT or CPT, you may have an entry point before pursuing long-term H-1B sponsorship, which is their most active visa category.
Highlight your CRO or pharma lab experience
Frontage works across drug metabolism, bioanalytical testing, and formulation development. Candidates who can demonstrate hands-on contract research organization experience or relevant pharmaceutical lab skills are better positioned to advance through their hiring process.
Apply early in hiring cycles
Because Frontage has a consistent sponsorship track record in Science and Research, their roles with visa support tend to attract competitive applicant pools. Applying early when a position is posted improves your chances before headcount decisions are finalized.
Use a platform built for sponsored job searches
Finding roles at verified sponsors like Frontage is faster when you filter by real sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and identify open Frontage positions without sorting through unverified listings.
Prepare for a technically rigorous interview process
Frontage evaluates candidates on domain-specific scientific knowledge, not just general qualifications. Be ready to discuss your expertise in areas like bioanalysis, DMPK, or formulation science in depth, since hiring managers are typically senior scientists assessing technical fit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Frontage Laboratories sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Frontage Laboratories sponsors H-1B visas and has done so consistently, making it one of the more active sponsors in the contract research organization space. Sponsorship is typically tied to scientific and research roles requiring specialized qualifications. If you're targeting an H-1B, focus your application on laboratory-based positions that directly match your degree and technical background.
Which visa types does Frontage Laboratories sponsor?
Frontage Laboratories sponsors H-1B visas, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for students in qualifying STEM programs. They also support Green Card sponsorship through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based immigrant visa categories, which is particularly relevant for candidates looking to build a long-term career in U.S. pharmaceutical research.
Which departments or roles at Frontage Laboratories are most likely to be sponsored?
Sponsorship at Frontage is concentrated in scientific and laboratory roles. Positions in bioanalytical chemistry, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics, formulation development, and regulatory affairs have historically been the strongest areas for visa sponsorship. Roles that require a graduate degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacology, or a related life sciences field are the most consistent candidates for H-1B and Green Card support.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Frontage Laboratories?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find open positions at Frontage Laboratories that come with verified visa sponsorship. You can filter by company and sponsorship type to see current Frontage listings, rather than manually searching and trying to determine whether sponsorship is available. This is especially useful if you're targeting multiple CROs alongside Frontage.
How do I approach the application timeline when targeting Frontage Laboratories for H-1B sponsorship?
If your goal is H-1B sponsorship through Frontage, timing your job search matters. The H-1B cap lottery opens each March for an October 1 start date. Ideally, you'd secure an offer with enough lead time for Frontage to complete the Labor Condition Application and file your petition before the registration window closes. Starting your search in the prior fall or winter gives you the best runway.
