Align your credentials to consulting delivery models
Global Connect Technologies staffs engineers on client-facing projects, so your resume should highlight billable deliverables and cross-functional work. Consulting firms assess whether your background maps to specific service lines, so tailor your materials to match their practice areas.
Verify E-Verify enrollment before accepting offers
F-1 OPT authorization requires your employer to be E-Verify enrolled. Confirm Global Connect Technologies is actively enrolled through the E-Verify employer search before your offer letter is signed, not after, to avoid losing OPT work authorization eligibility.
Target roles with multi-year project scopes
Consulting firms with longer-term client engagements are better positioned to support H-1B sponsorship because the Labor Condition Application requires a defined period of employment. Engineering roles tied to multi-year infrastructure or digital transformation projects give your petition a stronger foundation.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open engineering roles by sponsorship type
Not every open role at a consulting firm is approved for all visa types. Use Migrate Mate to browse Global Connect Technologies engineering positions filtered by the specific visa sponsorship you need, so you're only applying where your work authorization actually fits.
Clarify whether your role is client-site or internal before filing
For H-1B petitions at consulting firms, USCIS scrutinizes third-party placement arrangements closely. Confirm with your hiring contact whether the role is an internal position or a client-site placement, since that distinction affects how your employer structures the supporting documentation for your petition.

Does Global Connect Technologies sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
Yes, Global Connect Technologies sponsors H-1B visas for engineering roles. As a consulting and professional services firm, the company has experience navigating the H-1B cap registration and petition process. Because consulting firms often place engineers at client sites, your petition documentation may need to demonstrate that the role qualifies as a specialty occupation regardless of work location.
How do I apply for Engineering jobs at Global Connect Technologies?
You can browse and apply for engineering positions at Global Connect Technologies directly through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm the position fits your work authorization before applying. When you apply, tailor your resume to the specific service line or practice area the role supports, since consulting firms evaluate candidates against billable project requirements.
Which visa types does Global Connect Technologies commonly use for Engineering roles?
Global Connect Technologies sponsors H-1B visas for engineers and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates earlier in the pipeline. The company also sponsors TN visas for qualified Canadian and Mexican nationals in engineering roles. The right visa type depends on your nationality, your degree, and where you are in your career.
What qualifications does Global Connect Technologies expect for Engineering positions?
Engineering roles at consulting and professional services firms typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline. For H-1B eligibility specifically, the position must qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, meaning the degree requirement must be directly tied to the job duties. Client-facing consulting roles often also expect demonstrated project delivery experience.
How do I plan my timeline for visa sponsorship at Global Connect Technologies?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with the filing window opening April 1 for an October 1 start date. If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT, you'll need your offer letter confirmed well before April to give your employer enough preparation time. For TN visas, the process moves faster since there's no annual cap and no lottery.
