Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
Google's Lead Management roles typically require a degree in business, marketing, or a related field. USCIS evaluates specialty occupation by whether the role normally requires that specific degree, so tailor your resume to reflect the academic alignment explicitly.
Target roles with cross-functional scope
Google Lead Management positions that span sales strategy, pipeline operations, and CRM systems are more likely to clear the specialty occupation bar than narrowly defined coordinator roles. Search for titles referencing strategy, analytics, or go-to-market ownership.
Browse open positions through Migrate Mate
Google's Lead Management openings that come with confirmed sponsorship are filtered and listed on Migrate Mate, saving you the guesswork of identifying which postings are open to international candidates before you invest time applying.
Prepare for Google's LCA filing requirements
Your employer files a Labor Condition Application with DOL before your H-1B petition can proceed. Google's recruiting team typically initiates this early, but confirm the prevailing wage level assigned to your role matches your offered salary to prevent delays.
Time your application around the H-1B cap window
If your pathway is cap-subject H-1B, registration opens each March for an October 1 start date. Securing your Google offer and completing all documentation well before February gives you and your employer enough runway to register without scrambling.

Find Lead Management at Google JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Google sponsor H-1B visas for Lead Managements?
Yes, Google sponsors H-1B visas for Lead Management roles where the position qualifies as a specialty occupation, meaning it normally requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field like business, marketing, or a related discipline. Google has a dedicated immigration team that manages the H-1B petition process, including Labor Condition Application filing with DOL, so sponsorship for qualified candidates in this function is well established.
How do I apply for Lead Management jobs at Google?
Apply through Google's careers portal and filter by function and location. Before applying, research whether the specific role references strategic or analytical responsibilities, since those titles carry stronger specialty occupation standing with USCIS. To find Lead Management openings at Google that are confirmed open to visa sponsorship, browse listings on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for sponsored roles so you're not applying blind.
Which visa types does Google use for Lead Management roles?
Google sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Lead Management positions. H-1B is the most common and is available to any nationality, but it requires winning the annual lottery. H-1B1 is available only to Chilean and Singaporean nationals and is not lottery-based. E-3 is exclusive to Australian citizens, has its own annual allocation that has historically gone unfilled, and can be filed at any point in the year.
What qualifications does Google expect for Lead Management roles?
Google's Lead Management positions typically require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field, along with experience in sales operations, pipeline management, or go-to-market strategy. Proficiency with CRM systems and data analysis tools is commonly expected. For visa purposes, the alignment between your degree field and the role's core responsibilities directly affects whether USCIS approves the specialty occupation determination.
How do I know if my visa timeline works for a Google Lead Management offer?
If you're pursuing an H-1B, your employment start date can't precede October 1, since that's when new cap-subject visas take effect. Registration closes in late March, so a Google offer needs to be in place before then. E-3 and H-1B1 applicants have more flexibility since those aren't lottery-based and can be processed closer to your intended start date, though consular appointment wait times vary by location.
