Job Roles at Bennett Thrasher
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Bennett Thrasher Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target tax and audit roles with clear degree alignment
Bennett Thrasher's Green Card sponsorships concentrate in technical accounting roles where a relevant degree is essential. Positioning yourself as a specialist in tax advisory or audit strengthens your petition's specialty occupation foundation from the start.
Raise sponsorship early in the hiring conversation
Accounting firms plan headcount carefully. Mentioning your Green Card sponsorship need during initial interviews, rather than after an offer, gives Bennett Thrasher's HR team time to assess fit before the process moves too far forward.
Understand PERM and the employer's role
Green Card sponsorship at a firm like Bennett Thrasher typically begins with PERM labor certification, where the employer must demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available. Knowing this process shows interviewers you won't create surprises down the line.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Bennett Thrasher's sponsorship history
Before applying, confirm Bennett Thrasher's actual Green Card track record. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you prioritize firms with a genuine commitment rather than guessing from job descriptions alone.
Align your tenure timeline with the firm's sponsorship culture
PERM-based Green Card sponsorship is a multi-year commitment for both parties. Demonstrating to Bennett Thrasher that you're planning a long-term career in accounting, not just seeking temporary authorization, materially improves your chances of the firm initiating the process.
Leverage your H-1B or F-1 status as a bridge
Many Bennett Thrasher Green Card sponsorships begin while the employee is already on H-1B status. If you're on OPT or H-1B, framing your situation as a natural progression rather than a new overhead cost makes the conversation significantly easier with hiring managers.

Does Bennett Thrasher sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Bennett Thrasher sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The firm operates across tax, audit, and advisory services, and sponsorship is typically initiated for professionals in specialty accounting roles after they have established themselves within the organization and demonstrated long-term potential.
Which roles at Bennett Thrasher are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Bennett Thrasher is most commonly associated with technical accounting positions in tax advisory, audit, and financial consulting. Roles requiring a specific accounting or finance degree carry stronger specialty occupation arguments, which are central to the PERM and immigrant visa petition process.
How does the Green Card application process work at Bennett Thrasher?
Bennett Thrasher typically sponsors employees through the employment-based preference categories, most often EB-2 or EB-3, beginning with PERM labor certification filed with the Department of Labor. Once PERM is approved, the firm files an I-140 immigrant petition, after which the employee pursues adjustment of status or consular processing depending on their situation.
How long does Green Card sponsorship take at a firm like Bennett Thrasher?
Timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the visa category used. For applicants from countries without significant backlogs, the process from PERM filing to Green Card approval can take two to four years. Indian and Chinese nationals face substantially longer waits due to per-country limits, sometimes extending well over a decade.
How do I find open Green Card sponsorship jobs at Bennett Thrasher?
Start by searching Bennett Thrasher's careers page and filtering for roles that match your accounting background. Migrate Mate is also worth checking, as it aggregates verified sponsorship data so you can confirm which employers are actively filing and identify open roles with real Green Card sponsorship history behind them.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Bennett Thrasher?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
