Target roles that align with Green Card sponsorship
BPM's sponsorship history leans toward permanent residency pathways. Focus your applications on senior accounting, audit, and advisory roles where long-term retention matters most to the firm and Green Card sponsorship is more likely to be considered.
Understand which visa types BPM supports
BPM sponsors F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, J-1, and employment-based Green Cards. If you're on OPT or CPT, accounting and audit roles at BPM are a natural fit for maintaining status while building toward a permanent pathway.
Highlight CPA progress and technical accounting skills
BPM recruits heavily in accounting and auditing. Demonstrating active CPA candidacy or licensure, plus experience with U.S. GAAP or PCAOB standards, strengthens your case as a sponsorable hire in their core service lines.
Apply during campus recruiting season if you're on F-1
BPM actively recruits from university accounting programs. If you're on an F-1 visa, targeting BPM through campus recruiting cycles improves your chances of securing a role that supports CPT or OPT before graduation or shortly after.
Ask directly about immigration support during the interview process
BPM's sponsorship support varies by role and business line. Raising the topic professionally during final-round interviews, after receiving an offer, gives you clarity on whether Green Card or other visa sponsorship is available for your specific position.
Use Migrate Mate to find BPM's verified open roles

Frequently Asked Questions
Does BPM sponsor H-1B visas?
BPM's recent sponsorship activity has focused on Green Card pathways rather than H-1B visa petitions. The firm does support a range of visa types including F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN visa, and J-1 visa, so international candidates in accounting and advisory roles still have viable options when pursuing employment at BPM.
Which visa types does BPM sponsor?
BPM sponsors employment-based Green Cards (EB-2 and EB-3), F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and J-1 visas. This range makes BPM accessible to international candidates at various stages of their immigration journey, from recent graduates on OPT to professionals seeking permanent residency.
Which departments or roles at BPM are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at BPM tends to be concentrated in core accounting and advisory functions, including audit, tax, and consulting. Roles requiring specialized credentials, such as CPA-licensed or CPA-track professionals, are the strongest candidates for sponsorship support, as these positions reflect long-term hiring needs within the firm.
How do I navigate the application timeline when targeting BPM for visa sponsorship?
Start your application process well before your current work authorization expires. For F-1 OPT candidates, apply early in the recruiting cycle to allow time for offer negotiation and any necessary visa filings. For Green Card pathways, sponsorship typically begins after you've established yourself in a role, so expect a timeline that extends beyond your initial hire date.
How do I find open roles at BPM that are open to visa sponsorship?
The most reliable approach is to search specifically for employers with a confirmed sponsorship history rather than relying on job postings alone. Migrate Mate lets you browse BPM's current openings filtered by verified sponsorship track record, so you can focus your efforts on roles where international candidates have a realistic path to approval.
