How to Get Visa Sponsorship in CDH CPA Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
CDH CPA sponsors H-1B visas, which require the role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Focus your applications on positions like audit associate, tax analyst, or CPA-track roles where a specific degree in accounting or finance is required.
Pursue CPA licensure or demonstrate active progress toward it
Accounting firms sponsor visa candidates who show long-term professional commitment. Being actively pursuing CPA licensure signals to CDH CPA that you're invested in a U.S.-based career, which strengthens your case for H-1B sponsorship consideration.
Highlight technical accounting skills that are genuinely hard to fill domestically
CDH CPA is more likely to sponsor candidates with specialized skills in areas like international tax, audit methodology, or forensic accounting. Niche expertise strengthens the employer's case for filing an H-1B on your behalf.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm current sponsorship activity before applying
Sponsorship programs can change year to year at smaller accounting firms. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and confirm CDH CPA is actively filing before investing time in an application.
Prepare to discuss your visa status early and clearly in the process
Accounting firms evaluating international candidates want to understand sponsorship obligations upfront. Be ready to explain your current status, work authorization timeline, and whether you need cap-subject H-1B filing or are cap-exempt through a previous approval.

Does CDH CPA sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, CDH CPA sponsors H-1B visas for qualified candidates in accounting and auditing roles. The firm has a consistent track record of H-1B filings, making it a viable target for international professionals in the field. Roles must qualify as specialty occupations, which accounting and audit positions typically do when a specific degree is required.
Which roles at CDH CPA are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
CDH CPA's sponsorship activity is concentrated in accounting and auditing functions, consistent with its core service lines. Positions such as audit associate, tax associate, and accounting analyst are the most likely candidates for H-1B sponsorship. Client-facing and technical accounting roles that require a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field align best with H-1B specialty occupation standards.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at CDH CPA?
The most reliable way is to use Migrate Mate, which tracks verified sponsorship history and surfaces current openings at firms like CDH CPA. Filtering by confirmed H-1B sponsors in the accounting and auditing industry saves time and ensures you're targeting employers with a real track record, not just those who say they're open to sponsorship.
How do I time my application to CDH CPA around the H-1B cap?
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start date, following a March lottery registration. This means you should aim to secure an offer from CDH CPA by late February or early March at the latest. If you're on OPT, confirm your end date and whether you qualify for the STEM OPT extension, which can provide additional runway if you miss a cap cycle.
What should I expect during the sponsorship conversation with CDH CPA?
Smaller CPA firms typically evaluate sponsorship decisions case by case rather than having a blanket policy. Be prepared to clearly explain your visa status, your authorization timeline, and the costs and steps involved in H-1B filing. Demonstrating technical depth in accounting or audit and showing long-term career interest in the U.S. makes the sponsorship case stronger from the employer's perspective.
