Job Roles at Cardinal Health
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Cardinal Health Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles with established sponsorship histories
Cardinal Health's Green Card filings tend to cluster in supply chain operations, IT, finance, and regulatory affairs. Applying to roles in these functions gives you the best chance of landing a position where Green Card sponsorship is already part of the offer.
Ask about Green Card timelines during the offer stage
Cardinal Health operates in a compliance-heavy industry where long-term workforce planning is standard. Raise Green Card sponsorship during offer negotiations, not after you've signed. Most hiring managers in Distribution and Wholesale are familiar with the process.
Understand the PERM labor certification process
Green Card sponsorship at Cardinal Health typically begins with PERM, where the company documents that no qualified U.S. workers are available for your role. This stage can take a year or more, so getting clarity on when the employer intends to initiate it matters.
Prioritize positions that start with H-1B or TN sponsorship
Cardinal Health sponsors multiple nonimmigrant visa types, including H-1B and TN. Roles that already come with nonimmigrant sponsorship are much more likely to lead to Green Card filing, since the company has already demonstrated willingness to invest in visa support.
Search for open roles with verified sponsorship history
Not every Cardinal Health job listing mentions Green Card sponsorship explicitly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, making it easier to identify Cardinal Health roles that have a documented record of Green Card filings.
Build tenure before your Green Card case is filed
Cardinal Health's sponsorship decisions are tied to business need and role continuity. Demonstrating strong performance and integration into your team before the Green Card process begins gives the company confidence to commit to the multi-year investment sponsorship requires.

Does Cardinal Health sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Cardinal Health sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The company files Green Card petitions across its distribution, technology, finance, and regulatory operations. Sponsorship is typically offered to employees already on nonimmigrant status, such as H-1B or TN, after demonstrating value in their role. It is not guaranteed at the point of hire.
Which roles and departments at Cardinal Health are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Cardinal Health tends to be concentrated in supply chain and logistics, information technology, finance and accounting, and regulatory and compliance functions. These departments reflect Cardinal Health's core operations in Distribution and Wholesale healthcare. Roles requiring specialized degrees or hard-to-fill technical expertise are the most common candidates for employer-sponsored permanent residence.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at Cardinal Health?
Cardinal Health typically handles Green Card cases through its in-house HR and legal teams, often working with outside immigration counsel. The process generally starts with PERM labor certification, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition, and then adjustment of status or consular processing. Employees should engage their HR business partner early to understand when the company expects to initiate each stage.
How long does the Green Card process take at Cardinal Health?
The full Green Card process at Cardinal Health can take anywhere from two to several years depending on your nationality, visa category, and USCIS processing times. For applicants from India or China, priority date backlogs in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories can extend the wait significantly beyond the initial PERM and I-140 stages. Planning ahead and maintaining valid nonimmigrant status throughout is essential.
How do I find Cardinal Health jobs that include Green Card sponsorship?
Job listings rarely advertise Green Card sponsorship directly, so the most reliable approach is to identify roles in departments with a proven filing history and confirm sponsorship intent during the interview process. Migrate Mate makes this easier by surfacing Cardinal Health roles alongside verified sponsorship data, so you can focus your applications on positions backed by a real Green Card track record.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Cardinal Health?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
