Target roles that align with Medpace's core research operations
Medpace's Green Card sponsorships concentrate in clinical research, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, and medical writing. Focusing your application on these science-driven departments gives you the strongest chance of landing a role with a clear path to permanent residence.
Confirm sponsorship intent before deep into the process
Not every open role at Medpace comes with Green Card sponsorship. Ask directly during early recruiter conversations whether the specific position supports permanent residence, so you're not investing time in a role that only offers temporary work authorization.
Understand that EB-2 and EB-3 are the most common pathways
Medpace typically files Green Cards under EB-2 or EB-3 categories, depending on your role's education and experience requirements. Knowing which category applies to your position helps you set realistic timeline expectations from the start of employment.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified Green Card-sponsoring roles
Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify Medpace openings where Green Card sponsorship is confirmed rather than assumed. This saves significant time compared to manually verifying each job listing.
Build a track record in clinical research before applying
Medpace values deep domain expertise in its science and research functions. Candidates with hands-on experience in clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, or biostatistics are better positioned to secure Green Card-sponsored roles and demonstrate the specialized knowledge Medpace requires.
Ask about PERM labor certification timing during your offer negotiation
The PERM process is the first formal step in employer-sponsored Green Card applications. Asking Medpace's HR team when they typically initiate PERM filings relative to your start date helps you plan for priority date tracking and potential wait times.
Medpace Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Medpace sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Medpace sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees in science and research roles. The company files under EB-2 and EB-3 categories, primarily for positions in clinical research operations, regulatory affairs, biostatistics, and medical writing. Sponsorship is typically offered to employees who demonstrate specialized expertise and long-term value to the organization.
Which departments at Medpace are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Roles in clinical operations, biostatistics, data management, regulatory affairs, and medical writing are most closely aligned with Medpace's core business and therefore most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship. These departments require specialized scientific training and experience that supports the EB-2 and EB-3 eligibility criteria Medpace typically relies on.
How does the Green Card application process work at Medpace?
Medpace initiates the process by filing a PERM labor certification with the Department of Labor, which confirms no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. Once PERM is approved, Medpace files an I-140 immigrant petition. After your priority date becomes current, you can file for adjustment of status or go through consular processing to receive your Green Card.
How long does it take to get a Green Card through Medpace?
The total timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the visa category. The PERM and I-140 stages combined can take one to two years. For applicants born in countries with high demand, such as India or China, the wait for a current priority date can extend significantly beyond that due to annual visa backlogs.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Medpace that are open right now?
Migrate Mate tracks companies with verified Green Card sponsorship history and surfaces currently open roles at employers like Medpace. Filtering specifically for Green Card-eligible positions lets you focus on opportunities where sponsorship is part of the offer, rather than spending time on listings where it is unclear or unlikely to be available.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Medpace?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
