Job Roles at Nasdaq
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Nasdaq Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and engineering roles
Nasdaq's Green Card sponsorships concentrate in software engineering, data infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Applying to roles with clear technical specialization gives you the strongest foundation for a Green Card conversation during hiring.
Raise sponsorship early, not at offer stage
In financial services hiring, sponsorship discussions that surface late can stall offers. Confirm Nasdaq's willingness to sponsor Green Cards for your specific role before advancing far into interviews to avoid wasted effort on both sides.
Leverage your H-1B status as a bridge
Many Nasdaq Green Card holders transition from H-1B status. If you're already on an H-1B, frame your candidacy around continuity, Nasdaq avoids a new H-1B cap filing and can begin the PERM process while you work legally.
Focus on roles with long-term workforce demand
PERM sponsorship requires Nasdaq to demonstrate no qualified U.S. worker is available. Roles in specialized financial technology, quantitative development, or niche compliance functions tend to meet that bar more reliably than generalist positions.
Search verified sponsors before applying
Confirming actual Green Card sponsorship history before applying saves significant time. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your search on companies like Nasdaq that have an active record.

Does Nasdaq sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Nasdaq sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. Sponsorship is concentrated in technical and specialized roles, primarily through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories. Not every open position qualifies, so confirming sponsorship availability for your specific role with the recruiter early in the process is essential.
Which roles and departments at Nasdaq are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Nasdaq typically goes to software engineers, data engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and quantitative or financial technology specialists. Roles requiring highly specific technical expertise are stronger candidates for PERM sponsorship because they satisfy the labor market test more consistently than broadly defined generalist positions.
How does the Green Card application process work at Nasdaq?
Nasdaq initiates the process by filing a PERM labor certification with the Department of Labor on your behalf, confirming no qualified U.S. worker is available for the role. Once certified, Nasdaq files an I-140 immigrant petition. Depending on your country of birth, you then wait for a visa number to become available before completing adjustment of status or consular processing.
How long does it take to get a Green Card through Nasdaq?
Timeline varies significantly based on your birth country and the employment-based category. For applicants born outside India and China, the process from PERM filing to Green Card approval can take two to four years or more. Indian-born applicants face substantially longer waits due to per-country backlogs in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Nasdaq and similar companies?
Start by searching Nasdaq's careers page and filtering for roles that align with their known sponsorship-heavy departments. Migrate Mate is built specifically for this, letting you browse verified Green Card sponsors and identify open roles at companies with a confirmed sponsorship track record, so you spend less time guessing and more time applying to genuine opportunities.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Nasdaq?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
