How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Brex H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target engineering and product roles first
Brex's H-1B sponsorships are concentrated in software engineering and product management. If your background aligns with fintech infrastructure, payments, or developer tooling, these teams are your strongest entry point for sponsorship consideration.
Understand Brex's H-1B timeline before you apply
H-1B cap-subject petitions follow USCIS's April lottery cycle. Brex will need to file your petition before that deadline, so apply several months in advance and confirm sponsorship willingness early in the interview process.
Confirm sponsorship before advancing through interviews
Not every open role at Brex comes with guaranteed H-1B support. Ask your recruiter directly whether the specific position is approved for sponsorship before investing time in later-stage technical rounds.
Highlight fintech-specific skills in your application
Brex operates in Banking & Financial Services, so experience with payment systems, financial compliance, or enterprise spend management strengthens your case. Connecting your background to their core product domain can differentiate you from other H-1B candidates.
Use verified sponsorship data when researching roles
When searching for open positions, Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus on Brex roles that have a genuine H-1B track record rather than guessing from job descriptions.

Does Brex sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Brex sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established track record of sponsoring international employees, particularly in technical and finance-adjacent roles. If you're applying from F-1 OPT or another nonimmigrant status, it's worth confirming sponsorship eligibility for the specific role with your recruiter early in the process.
Which roles at Brex are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
Software engineering, product management, and data-focused roles are the most common H-1B sponsorship targets at Brex. Given its position in Banking & Financial Services, roles involving payments infrastructure, financial systems, or enterprise software also have strong sponsorship precedent. Corporate functions like sales or operations are less consistently sponsored.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Brex?
Once Brex extends an offer to an H-1B candidate, their legal team or an immigration law firm handles the petition filing with USCIS. You'll provide supporting documentation including educational credentials, employment history, and passport details. The process requires coordination between you, HR, and outside counsel, so respond to document requests promptly to avoid delays.
How do I find H-1B sponsorship jobs at Brex?
Migrate Mate lists verified H-1B sponsors including Brex, so you can search open roles with confidence that sponsorship history is real rather than inferred from job descriptions. Filter by company or role type to find positions at Brex that align with your background in engineering, finance, or product.
What is the typical H-1B sponsorship timeline at Brex?
The H-1B process at Brex follows the standard USCIS cap cycle, with petitions filed in March or April for an October 1 start date. From offer acceptance to work authorization, expect roughly six months if you're subject to the annual lottery. Premium processing can shorten USCIS adjudication to a few weeks once the petition is filed.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Brex?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
