Tailor your resume to hotel operations
Highgate hires for property-level guest experience, so highlight direct hospitality touchpoints: front desk systems, reservation platforms, or multilingual guest communication. Generic customer service experience reads weaker than hotel-specific context to their hiring managers.
Confirm your visa type fits the role level
Customer Service roles at hotels often span non-exempt and exempt positions. H-2B covers temporary non-exempt roles with seasonal demand, while H-1B and E-3 require specialty occupation standing. Clarify with the recruiter which classification applies before you advance.
Target properties undergoing renovation or rebranding
Highgate frequently acquires and repositions hotels, which drives concentrated front-of-house hiring surges. Watching for newly rebranded properties in their portfolio often surfaces open Customer Service roles before they circulate widely on job boards.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa type
Highgate posts Customer Service openings across multiple properties simultaneously. Use Migrate Mate to filter those listings by the visa categories they sponsor, so you can prioritize applications where your specific status is already supported.
Request the LCA details before your start date
Your employer files the Labor Condition Application with DOL before your H-1B or E-3 petition can proceed. Confirm the certified LCA reflects your actual work location and job title, since Highgate operates properties across multiple states and mismatches cause delays.

Find Customer Service at Highgate Hotels JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Highgate Hotels sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Service?
Yes, Highgate Hotels has sponsored H-1B visas for Customer Service roles. These sponsorships typically apply to positions that meet the specialty occupation standard, which can include guest services management and operations roles requiring a relevant bachelor's degree. Confirm with the recruiter whether the specific role you are applying to qualifies under that standard before proceeding.
How do I apply for Customer Service jobs at Highgate Hotels?
Applications go through Highgate's careers portal, where listings are organized by property and department. You can also browse and filter their open Customer Service roles by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate, which makes it easier to identify positions already aligned with your work authorization status before you apply.
Which visa types does Highgate Hotels commonly use for Customer Service roles?
Highgate sponsors across several categories for this function, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, H-2B for seasonal non-exempt roles, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students in qualifying programs. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and the classification level of the specific role.
What qualifications does Highgate Hotels expect for Customer Service positions?
Expectations vary by seniority. Entry-level front desk and guest relations roles typically require prior hotel or hospitality experience and comfort with property management systems. Roles at the manager or supervisor level generally expect a degree in hospitality management or a related field, which also strengthens the case for H-1B or E-3 sponsorship eligibility under the specialty occupation standard.
How do I manage timing between a job offer and visa filing for a Customer Service role at Highgate Hotels?
The filing timeline depends on your visa category. H-1B petitions are subject to the annual lottery and must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start, so offers need to come well in advance. E-3 and TN petitions move faster and are not lottery-based. Discuss the filing window with Highgate's HR team immediately after receiving an offer so neither side misses a critical USCIS deadline.
