Tailor your resume for hotel operations
Hospitality support roles at Highgate require demonstrated experience with property management systems, guest-facing service, and shift-based scheduling. Highlight specific tools like Opera or Maestro and quantify guest satisfaction outcomes rather than listing generic customer service duties.
Verify your visa type matches the role
Highgate sponsors multiple visa categories for Support Associates, including H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT. Confirm your current status is eligible for the role before applying, since hourly hospitality support positions have different sponsorship pathways than salaried corporate roles.
Apply before peak seasonal hiring closes
Highgate staffs up Support Associates ahead of summer and holiday travel surges. Applications submitted in late winter or early spring reach hiring managers before requisitions fill, giving you more time to complete any USCIS filing before your start date.
Ask recruiters about property-level sponsorship decisions
Highgate's hotels operate with significant property-level autonomy. Sponsorship approval for Support Associate roles can depend on the specific general manager and HR coordinator at the property you are targeting, not just corporate policy.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Support Associate roles
Not every open requisition at Highgate clearly states visa sponsorship availability in the job posting. Use Migrate Mate to browse verified Support Associate openings at Highgate Hotels filtered by sponsorship type so you are only targeting roles where sponsorship is confirmed.
Confirm LCA filing timeline with your employer contact
Before accepting a Support Associate offer, ask Highgate's HR team when they plan to file the Labor Condition Application with DOL. LCA certification must precede any H-1B or E-3 petition, and delays here can push your start date past your authorized period of stay.

Find Support Associate at Highgate Hotels JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Highgate Hotels sponsor H-1B visas for Support Associates?
Yes, Highgate Hotels sponsors H-1B visas for Support Associate roles. Because H-1B sponsorship requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, your application will be stronger when the role involves supervisory, technical, or systems-based responsibilities rather than purely entry-level duties. Confirm the specific job description with the property's HR contact before applying.
Which visa types does Highgate Hotels commonly use for Support Associate roles?
Highgate Hotels sponsors a range of visa types for Support Associates, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian nationals, TN for Canadian and Mexican citizens, H-2B for seasonal positions, and F-1 OPT and CPT for current international students. The visa type Highgate files depends on your nationality, degree status, and the specific role's classification at the property level.
How do I apply for Support Associate jobs at Highgate Hotels?
Browse verified Support Associate openings at Highgate Hotels on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by sponsorship type so you only see positions where visa support is confirmed. You can also apply through Highgate's careers portal directly. When reaching out, reference your visa status early in the process so recruiters can route your application to properties with active sponsorship capacity.
What qualifications does Highgate Hotels expect for Support Associate candidates?
Highgate typically looks for candidates with prior front desk, guest services, or hospitality operations experience, familiarity with property management systems, and strong communication skills. For visa-sponsored roles, a relevant bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field strengthens your application, particularly for H-1B filings that require demonstrating a specialty occupation.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing visa sponsorship through Highgate Hotels?
Start the process as early as possible. H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start date, so you need a signed offer well before March. E-3 and TN petitions have more flexible timelines but still require a certified LCA from DOL before filing. Factor in property-level HR approval, LCA processing of around seven business days, and USCIS adjudication when negotiating your start date with Highgate.
