Target Hilton Resort Properties with Equestrian Facilities
Hilton's Groom openings are concentrated at full-service resort properties that operate stables or trail programs, not city hotels. Search for roles at Hilton's grand resort and retreat locations, where year-round equestrian staffing needs make visa sponsorship a practical option.
Document Your Hands-On Equine Care Experience
Hilton's hiring managers expect demonstrated experience with grooming, feeding routines, and stable maintenance for working horses. Gather reference letters from previous stables or equestrian centers that confirm your specific animal handling duties, since vague employment records slow H-2B petition reviews.
Understand the H-2B Seasonal Timing Window
H-2B visas cover temporary non-agricultural work tied to a seasonal need. Hilton typically files petitions well before the start date, so engage with the hiring team early. Missing the DOL job order and prevailing wage filing window can push your start date back by an entire season.
Confirm the Role Is Listed on the DOL Job Order
Before accepting a verbal offer, verify your specific Groom position is included in the H-2B labor certification Hilton files with DOL. Employers sometimes bundle multiple roles in one petition, and your job title must appear exactly as filed or USCIS can flag the petition.
Prepare for a Consular Interview Focused on Return Intent
H-2B consular officers routinely ask Groom applicants about ties to their home country and plans after the work period ends. Bring proof of property, family, or employment commitments at home to demonstrate you intend to return when the visa expires.
Browse Hilton Groom Openings Through Migrate Mate
Hilton posts Groom vacancies across multiple channels, making it easy to miss roles that include sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Hilton Groom positions that offer visa sponsorship, so you're applying to listings where the path is already confirmed.

Find Groom at Hilton JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Hilton sponsor H-1B visas for Grooms?
No. Groom roles don't qualify for H-1B sponsorship because they don't require a bachelor's degree in a specialty occupation. Hilton sponsors Grooms under the H-2B visa, which covers temporary non-agricultural workers filling a seasonal or intermittent need. If you're pursuing a Groom position, H-2B is the relevant pathway to focus on.
Which visa types does Hilton use to sponsor Groom roles?
Hilton uses the H-2B temporary worker visa to sponsor Grooms. This visa is issued for positions tied to a seasonal business need, such as operating equestrian facilities at resort properties during peak periods. H-2B sponsorship requires Hilton to complete a DOL labor certification and demonstrate that qualified U.S. workers aren't available for the role.
What qualifications and experience does Hilton expect for Groom positions?
Hilton expects candidates to have direct experience caring for horses in a professional or commercial stable setting. This typically includes grooming, feeding, exercising, and maintaining tack and stable areas. Formal equestrian credentials help, but hands-on experience with documented references carries significant weight. Basic English communication skills are generally required for coordinating with property staff and guests.
How do I apply for Groom jobs at Hilton?
You can search Hilton's careers portal directly, but roles that include visa sponsorship aren't always labeled clearly. Migrate Mate filters Hilton job listings specifically for positions offering visa sponsorship, making it easier to identify Groom openings where H-2B sponsorship is part of the offer. Once you identify a role, apply through Hilton's official application system and follow up promptly given H-2B filing deadlines.
How do I navigate the timeline for an H-2B Groom position at Hilton?
H-2B petitions have strict government filing windows. DOL must certify the labor condition application before USCIS reviews the petition, and cap limits on H-2B visas mean early filing matters. Hilton initiates the process on your behalf once you receive an offer, but you should have your passport, prior employment documentation, and home country ties prepared well before your expected start date.
