Job Roles at Immunitybio Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Immunitybio Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles aligned with your technical background
ImmunityBio's sponsorship activity centers on scientific and research-intensive roles. If your background is in immunology, oncology, cell biology, or biopharmaceutical development, you're applying into the areas where sponsorship is most likely to be available.
Confirm your visa type is supported before applying
ImmunityBio sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT, along with TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals. Check which authorization type matches your status early, this determines your application timeline and what documentation the company will need to prepare.
Use Migrate Mate to verify current sponsorship activity
Sponsorship willingness can shift with hiring cycles and company stage. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsorship data so you can confirm ImmunityBio is actively sponsoring before investing time in a full application.
Understand the clinical-stage company context
ImmunityBio operates at the intersection of research and clinical development. Sponsorship decisions at companies like this often depend on project funding and pipeline stage, so timing your application to active hiring periods strengthens your chances considerably.
Prepare for a technically rigorous hiring process
Biopharmaceutical companies evaluate candidates on depth of domain expertise. For sponsored roles, expect detailed technical interviews alongside standard immigration logistics. Demonstrating clear specialization in your field reduces friction on the sponsorship conversation with hiring managers.
Check OPT and CPT eligibility timelines early
If you're on F-1 status, ImmunityBio's support for OPT and CPT makes it accessible during or right after your studies. Start the work authorization process well before your intended start date, processing timelines at universities and USCIS can run longer than expected.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does ImmunityBio sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, ImmunityBio sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established track record of supporting H-1B petitions for qualified candidates in scientific and technical roles. If you're currently on OPT or another nonimmigrant status and receive an offer, the H-1B is the most common long-term work authorization path ImmunityBio supports.
Which visa types does ImmunityBio sponsor?
ImmunityBio sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This range covers students in STEM programs using OPT or CPT, professionals transitioning from student status, and Canadian or Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations. The company does not have a documented Green Card sponsorship history based on available data, so if permanent residency is a priority, it's worth raising that conversation directly during the offer stage.
What types of roles at ImmunityBio are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at ImmunityBio is concentrated in scientific, clinical, and biotech-specific roles, think research scientists, immunologists, clinical operations professionals, and biopharmaceutical manufacturing specialists. Roles requiring deep domain expertise in oncology or cell therapy are the strongest fit. General business and administrative positions are less consistently sponsored at clinical-stage biotech companies of this type.
How do I find currently open sponsored roles at ImmunityBio?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find ImmunityBio roles with confirmed sponsorship history attached. Rather than applying through a general job board and hoping sponsorship is available, Migrate Mate filters by verified sponsorship data so you're only looking at employers with a documented record. From there, you can review ImmunityBio's current openings and apply with confidence that sponsorship has been offered for comparable roles.
How do I time my application to ImmunityBio if I need H-1B sponsorship?
If you're targeting the H-1B lottery, your employer must file your petition in March for an October 1 start date. That means your offer and onboarding paperwork need to be complete by late February at the latest. If you're already in the U.S. on OPT, the cap-exempt window and OPT extension options give you more flexibility. Start conversations with ImmunityBio's HR team early so there's enough runway for legal preparation.
