Target engineering and design roles
Karma Automotive's green card sponsorship skews toward specialized technical and design positions. Focus your applications on roles in EV powertrain engineering, vehicle software, and industrial design, where employer-sponsored immigration pathways are most commonly pursued.
Leverage F-1 OPT as your entry point
Karma Automotive has sponsored F-1 OPT workers, making it a realistic option for recent international graduates in engineering or related fields. Use your OPT period to demonstrate value and open conversations about long-term green card sponsorship.
Research Karma's niche in the EV market
Karma occupies a distinct position as a luxury EV brand. Tailoring your resume to reflect expertise in premium vehicle development, range-extended electric systems, or low-volume manufacturing processes will align with the roles most likely to receive sponsorship consideration.
Search for verified sponsoring employers before applying
Not every automotive employer sponsors visas consistently. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus on companies like Karma Automotive with documented green card filing activity.
Prepare for a longer sponsorship timeline
Green card processes through EB-2 or EB-3 take significantly longer than H-1B transfers. When targeting Karma Automotive, discuss the PERM labor certification timeline early in the hiring process so both sides align on expectations before you accept an offer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Karma Automotive sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, Karma Automotive does not have a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas. Their sponsorship activity is focused on green card pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3 categories. If H-1B sponsorship is a requirement for your situation, you'll want to clarify this directly with Karma's HR team before applying.
What visa types does Karma Automotive sponsor?
Karma Automotive sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 green cards and has also supported F-1 OPT workers. This means the company is oriented toward long-term immigration commitments rather than short-term nonimmigrant work visas. TN visa holders may also find opportunities here, particularly Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional roles.
Which departments or roles at Karma Automotive are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Karma Automotive's sponsorship activity is most consistent with specialized technical and engineering functions, including EV powertrain development, vehicle software systems, and industrial or interior design. Roles requiring niche expertise that's difficult to source domestically are typically where employers pursue PERM-based green card sponsorship most actively.
How do I find open sponsored positions at Karma Automotive?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find roles at companies with verified visa sponsorship history like Karma Automotive. You can filter by employer and visa type to surface positions where sponsorship is part of the hiring profile, saving time compared to applying broadly and asking about sponsorship after the fact.
How do I approach the application process at Karma Automotive as an international candidate?
Lead with your technical qualifications and be transparent about your visa status early in the process. Since Karma's sponsorship pathway is green card-focused, it helps to signal you're looking for a long-term role rather than a short-term placement. Researching Karma's vehicle lineup and positioning in the luxury EV segment will also strengthen your candidacy during interviews.
