Job Roles at Valeo Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Valeo Visa Sponsorship USA
Target engineering and R&D roles first
Valeo's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines, think embedded systems, electrical engineering, and automotive software. Focusing your application on these teams gives you the best chance of landing a role that qualifies for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship.
Research Valeo's global footprint before applying
With operations across multiple U.S. states, Valeo's hiring isn't limited to one location. Roles in Michigan, California, and Texas are common for automotive tech companies, knowing this helps you target the right regional teams and hiring managers.
Highlight automotive domain knowledge prominently
Valeo competes for specialized talent in ADAS, electrification, and thermal systems. Candidates who demonstrate direct automotive experience, not just general engineering, are far more likely to clear initial screening for sponsored roles.
Apply early in Q4 for H-1B cap consideration
H-1B registrations open in March each year, meaning employers like Valeo typically finalize sponsorship decisions in Q1. Getting into their pipeline by late Q4 of the prior year gives your application the best chance of moving forward in time.
Use a platform that confirms real sponsorship history
Not every automotive employer sponsors visas consistently. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your effort on companies like Valeo with an active track record rather than guessing.

Does Valeo sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Valeo sponsors H-1B visas for qualified workers in technical and engineering roles. The company has a consistent track record of H-1B filings, particularly for positions in automotive software, electrical engineering, and product development. Sponsorship is most common in specialized roles where Valeo relies on highly skilled international talent to fill gaps in the U.S. labor market.
What types of visas does Valeo sponsor?
Valeo sponsors both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories. On the work visa side, H-1B is the primary pathway for specialty occupation roles. For permanent residency, Valeo files EB-2 and EB-3 petitions, meaning the company actively supports long-term immigration, not just temporary work authorization. The visa type offered typically depends on the role, department, and the candidate's qualifications.
Which departments or roles at Valeo are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Valeo is concentrated in technical functions. Roles in ADAS engineering, embedded software development, electrical systems, thermal management, and automotive R&D are the most frequently sponsored. Corporate functions like finance or HR are rarely sponsored. If you're a software engineer or systems engineer with automotive domain knowledge, you're in the strongest position to be considered for a sponsored role.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Valeo?
Migrate Mate lists open roles at verified sponsors like Valeo, filtered by visa type so you can quickly identify which positions are open to H-1B or Green Card candidates. This saves time compared to manually checking job postings that don't disclose sponsorship status. Search Migrate Mate for Valeo roles and filter by the visa category that matches your situation.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored by Valeo?
Tailor your application to Valeo's core technology areas, electrification, ADAS, and automotive software are where they invest most heavily in talent. Be explicit about your visa status early in the process so recruiters can route you to roles on a sponsorship track. Demonstrating automotive-specific experience, rather than general engineering skills, significantly strengthens your candidacy for a sponsored position.
