INTRODUCTION
The Assistant Director, Applied Behavior Analysis in Achievements (A-ABA) is responsible for providing administrative oversight, clinical services and research support for the A-ABA Program at the Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI) across its multiple locations. As a key member of the CASSI Achievements leadership team, the incumbent will partner with the Achievements Assistant Director and CASSI Executive Director to establish the initial program design, support the program’s strategic direction, and ensure maintenance of high-quality intervention implementation and operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CASSI Executive Director and Achievements Assistant Director to establish the initial design for the A-ABA program, including the development and implementation of program-wide clinical standards, protocols, interventions, assessments, and policies.
- Oversee all A-ABA operational functions, including program administration, scheduling systems, curriculum and training material development, and management of waitlists, screenings, and placement processes.
- Measure and monitor program and patient outcomes in collaboration with the Achievements leadership team.
- Conduct and oversee the implementation of functional behavioral assessments, skill acquisition plans, behavior reduction plans, adaptive behavior training, and family-centered supports.
- Serve as the liaison for internal and external partners and stakeholders, including managing and establishing protocols for addressing parent concerns and escalations.
- Ensure program compliance with Institute standards and accrediting body guidelines, regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Oversee all staffing and performance management processes for ABA program, including recruitment, onboarding, training, evaluation, coaching, scheduling, and discipline.
- Monitor and address quality and fidelity of ABA and related therapeutic services across all locations.
- Assist with interdisciplinary and community outreach activities to promote the A-ABA program and strengthen collaborative service delivery.
- Partner with CASSI Executive Director in planning and executing research on the design and effectiveness of the A-ABA program.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be Board certification in Applied Behavior Analysis granted by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Must possess and maintain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Must possess and maintain licensure in Applied Behavior Analysis in Maryland.
Education:
- Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Speech-Language Pathology or a related field, with related clinical coursework and supervised fieldwork required. Doctoral degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience required, with emphasis on pediatric interventions required.
- Experience in administration, supervision, or management required.
COMPENSATION
- Minimum pay range: USD $83,483.00/Yr.
- Maximum pay range: USD $149,453.00/Yr.
