Target roles that align with Knapp's core operations
Knapp's sponsorship activity is concentrated in construction and real estate functions. Focus your applications on technical, engineering, or project-focused roles where specialized expertise is harder to source domestically and sponsorship is more readily justified.
Understand which visa types Knapp actively uses
Knapp sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, E-3, F-1 OPT, and TN visas. Knowing which category fits your background before applying lets you frame your eligibility clearly and show hiring managers you understand the process from day one.
Australian candidates should highlight E-3 eligibility
Knapp has sponsored E-3 visas, making it a viable option for Australian professionals. The E-3 is faster and simpler to process than the H-1B, so leading with that eligibility can make sponsorship feel less burdensome to a construction-sector employer.
Use F-1 OPT as an entry point into Knapp's workforce
Knapp's willingness to sponsor F-1 OPT suggests openness to early-career international talent. If you're on OPT, applying to Knapp before your authorization runs out gives you time to transition into a longer-term visa category like H-1B.
Search for verified sponsoring employers before applying broadly
Not every construction and real estate company sponsors visas. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving you time and helping you prioritize employers like Knapp who have a documented track record.
Prepare for a sponsorship conversation early in the process
Construction employers often assess the complexity of sponsorship before extending offers. Research Knapp's sponsored visa types in advance and be ready to explain your category, timeline, and what the process involves from the employer's side.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Knapp sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Knapp sponsors H-1B visas and it represents the most active category in their sponsorship portfolio. Roles requiring specialized knowledge in construction, real estate, or related technical fields are the most likely candidates. If you hold a relevant bachelor's degree or higher and have a qualifying job offer, Knapp's H-1B track record makes them worth targeting.
Which visa types does Knapp sponsor?
Knapp sponsors a range of visa categories including H-1B, H-1B1 visa, E-3 visa, F-1 OPT, and TN visa. This breadth is relatively uncommon in the construction and real estate sector and signals a genuine infrastructure for managing international hires across different nationalities and career stages.
What types of roles at Knapp are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at construction and real estate firms like Knapp tends to concentrate in roles requiring specialized technical expertise, such as engineering, project management, architecture, or technology functions tied to construction operations. Roles where a specific degree field is required are stronger candidates for H-1B or E-3 sponsorship than general administrative positions.
How do I find open sponsored positions at Knapp?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find Knapp's open roles with confirmed sponsorship history. You can filter by company, visa type, and industry to see positions where Knapp is actively hiring international candidates, rather than applying to roles speculatively and discovering sponsorship isn't available.
How do I approach the application process at Knapp as a visa-requiring candidate?
Apply to roles that closely match your technical background and degree field, since construction-sector employers are most likely to sponsor when the skill gap is clear. Be transparent about your visa status early, identify which category you qualify for, and frame sponsorship as a straightforward process rather than an obstacle. Knapp's history across multiple visa types suggests their HR team has navigated this before.
