Target senior and specialized roles
Korn Ferry's visa sponsorship tends to concentrate in high-skill, specialized positions rather than entry-level roles. Focus your applications on senior consulting, talent analytics, or leadership advisory functions where international expertise adds clear differentiation.
Understand which visa types Korn Ferry sponsors
Korn Ferry has sponsored both H-1B and E-3 visas, so Australian nationals have a direct pathway alongside the standard H-1B route. Knowing this upfront lets you frame your visa situation confidently during recruiter conversations without creating unnecessary friction.
Align your background with their consulting verticals
Korn Ferry operates across executive search, organizational strategy, and leadership development. Candidates whose experience sits at the intersection of human capital and a specific industry vertical, such as financial services or technology, are far more likely to attract sponsorship interest.
Engage Korn Ferry's talent acquisition team directly
Given their relatively selective sponsorship activity, reaching out proactively to Korn Ferry recruiters who specialize in your functional area signals genuine interest. Recruiters familiar with your niche are better positioned to advocate internally for sponsorship approval.
Search for verified sponsoring employers before applying
Not every job posting signals real sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time and helping you prioritize applications to companies with a confirmed track record like Korn Ferry.
Prepare for a consultative, multi-stage interview process
Korn Ferry's hiring process for consulting and advisory roles typically involves multiple rounds assessing both domain expertise and cultural fit. Arriving prepared with a clear narrative about your specialty, your visa status, and your long-term career intent in the U.S. strengthens your candidacy significantly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Korn Ferry sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Korn Ferry sponsors H-1B visas. Sponsorship activity is focused on specialized roles in consulting, talent management, and leadership advisory rather than broad hiring across all departments. If you're targeting Korn Ferry, position your application around high-skill functions where your international expertise directly supports their client engagements. The H-1B remains the most common pathway for non-Australian nationals at the firm.
Which visa types does Korn Ferry sponsor?
Korn Ferry sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas. The E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens and offers a simpler process with no lottery, making it a strong option if you qualify. H-1B sponsorship follows the standard annual lottery cycle. Both pathways apply to specialty occupation roles, so a degree relevant to the position you're pursuing is required.
Which departments or roles at Korn Ferry are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Korn Ferry is most common in roles that require specialized expertise, including organizational consulting, executive assessment, talent analytics, and leadership development. These functions align directly with Korn Ferry's core service lines. Roles with a strong client-facing or advisory component, particularly those requiring deep domain knowledge in a specific industry, tend to be the strongest candidates for sponsorship consideration.
How do I find open roles at Korn Ferry that offer visa sponsorship?
The most reliable approach is to search through a platform that tracks verified sponsorship history rather than relying on job postings alone. Migrate Mate lets you filter roles by visa type and confirmed sponsoring employer, so you can identify Korn Ferry openings alongside other companies with a real track record. From there, applying directly through Korn Ferry's careers portal and stating your visa requirements early in the process reduces delays.
How do I approach the application timeline when sponsorship is involved?
If you're targeting an H-1B at Korn Ferry, timing matters significantly. USCIS accepts H-1B petitions in April for an October 1 start date, so your offer and filing need to align with that window. E-3 applicants have more flexibility since there's no cap or lottery. Start your conversations with Korn Ferry recruiters well in advance, and be transparent about your visa status early so the hiring team can plan accordingly.
