WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:
- Reviews Epic WQs to monitor claims for exactness and timely filing.
- Stays current with insurance processing regulations and provides instructions to billers.
- Oversees productivity of billing staff and completes annual evaluations.
- Resolves customer complaints while working with Quality Director, Revenue Cycle Manager, or other staff as needed.
- Revalidates facility NPI #s and assists with credentialing of providers.
- Trains new staff.
YOU’RE AN EXCELLENT FIT, IF YOU HAVE:
- High school diploma
- Previous insurance billing experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of insurance billing practices and medical terminology
