Target engineering and technical roles
McKim & Creed's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines tied to civil engineering and infrastructure. Focus your search on roles where your specialized degree and skills align directly with the firm's project delivery needs.
Understand which visa types they support
McKim & Creed has sponsored H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and J-1 visas. If you're on OPT or CPT, you may have a practical entry point before pursuing H-1B sponsorship later in your career with them.
Apply early in the H-1B season
H-1B petitions must be filed by April for an October start. If you're targeting McKim & Creed for H-1B sponsorship, begin conversations with their hiring team in December or January to give the process enough lead time.
Leverage your OPT or CPT as a foot in the door
McKim & Creed sponsors both OPT and CPT, making it a viable employer for F-1 students seeking practical experience. A successful internship or early-career role can naturally lead to H-1B sponsorship discussions down the line.
Highlight project-specific technical skills
In construction and real estate, employers sponsor visa candidates who fill genuine skill gaps on active projects. Emphasize licensed engineering credentials, software proficiency, and domain expertise that map directly to McKim & Creed's infrastructure work.
Search verified sponsors before applying
Before targeting McKim & Creed, confirm current openings match your visa type. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time on applications to firms that won't support your visa situation.

How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at MCKIM & CREED?
The most efficient approach is to use Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsoring employers and lets you filter openings by visa type and company. How do I approach the application timeline when targeting MCKIM & CREED for H-1B sponsorship?
Work backwards from the April H-1B filing deadline. Ideally, you should have an offer letter and begin internal HR discussions by February at the latest.
