Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Nursing Jobs at Memorial Health System Jobs
Verify Your NCLEX and State Licensure First
Memorial Health System requires active RN licensure before any visa petition moves forward. Confirm your NCLEX passing score is recognized and that your state nursing license is in good standing before reaching out to recruiters.
Target Units With Recurring Nursing Shortages
Critical care, med-surg, and telemetry units at health systems like Memorial tend to post roles more consistently than specialty floors. Applying to high-turnover units increases the likelihood a hiring manager has budget approved for sponsored candidates.
Understand H-1B Cap Timing for Nursing Roles
If you're applying without existing H-1B status, your start date depends on the annual April lottery. Align your application timeline so a conditional offer can be in place before USCIS registration opens each March.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Open Nursing Roles
Searching broadly across job boards buries sponsored roles in noise. Use Migrate Mate to filter Memorial Health System nursing openings by visa type, so you're only spending time on positions where sponsorship is confirmed.

Find Nursing at Memorial Health System JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Memorial Health System sponsor H-1B visas for Nursings?
Yes, Memorial Health System sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying nursing roles. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions go through the annual USCIS lottery each April, your timeline depends on when you receive an offer relative to that registration window. Nurses already holding H-1B status from a prior employer can transfer to Memorial outside the cap entirely.
How do I apply for Nursing jobs at Memorial Health System?
Applications go through Memorial Health System's careers portal. Before applying, confirm your RN license is active in the relevant state and that your resume reflects clinical specialties aligned with the open unit. You can browse current sponsored nursing openings at Memorial Health System through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type so you can focus on positions that match your sponsorship needs.
Which visa types does Memorial Health System use for Nursing roles?
Memorial Health System sponsors H-1B visas for temporary work authorization and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through the PERM labor certification process for longer-term positions. F-1 OPT and CPT are also recognized, which matters if you completed a U.S.-based nursing program. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN status under USMCA, which covers Registered Nursing as an eligible occupation.
What qualifications does Memorial Health System expect for sponsored Nursing positions?
Most sponsored nursing roles at Memorial Health System require an active RN license in the state where the position is located, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing with equivalent clinical experience, and NCLEX passage. Specialty units, including ICU and telemetry, typically expect one to two years of hands-on experience in that specific setting before sponsorship becomes part of the conversation.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Nursing role at Memorial Health System?
Timeline depends heavily on visa type. H-1B sponsorship tied to the annual cap means a minimum wait until October 1 of the fiscal year following selection. EB-3 PERM-based Green Card sponsorship typically runs 12 to 24 months before an immigrant visa becomes current, depending on your country of birth. TN status for Canadian nationals can often be obtained within days at a port of entry, making it the fastest path when eligible.
