Frame your credentials around manufacturing program delivery
Molex operates in highly technical, component-heavy environments. Translate your program management experience into tangible delivery outcomes, such as product launches, supplier qualification programs, or cross-regional rollouts, so your resume maps directly to their operational context.
Research Molex's active connector and electronics product lines
Molex's program management roles often align to specific business units, including automotive, data solutions, or consumer electronics. Targeting your application to a relevant division makes you a stronger fit than applying broadly and signals genuine operational understanding.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
F-1 OPT holders should confirm whether CPT or OPT applies to their timeline before discussions progress. Starting this conversation after an offer creates unnecessary delays. USCIS processing timelines for cap-subject H-1B petitions mean timing your job search around the April lottery window matters significantly.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Director of Program Management openings at Molex
Sponsorship-confirmed job listings are harder to identify than they should be. Browse Director of Program Management roles at Molex directly on Migrate Mate to see only positions where sponsorship is on the table, saving you from applying to roles that quietly exclude visa candidates.
Prepare your PMP or equivalent certification documentation early
Director-level program management roles at Molex routinely expect formal credentials alongside experience. Having your certification transcripts, continuing education records, and degree equivalency documentation ready shortens the employer's internal HR review and signals readiness for PERM or H-1B filing paperwork.
Understand how TN status works for Canadian and Mexican candidates
If you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship, the TN visa category covers management consultants and engineers, which can apply to Director of Program Management roles depending on how the position is classified. Confirm the job description aligns with a qualifying TN occupation list category before your interview.

Find Director Of Program Management at Molex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Molex sponsor H-1B visas for Director Of Program Managements?
Yes, Molex sponsors H-1B visas for Director of Program Management roles. As a large global manufacturer, Molex has an established immigration process and works with corporate immigration counsel to support cap-subject H-1B petitions. If you're currently on OPT, confirming sponsorship intent early in the process gives you the best chance of aligning your timeline with the April USCIS lottery registration window.
How do I apply for Director Of Program Management jobs at Molex?
You can search and apply through Molex's careers portal directly, or use Migrate Mate to browse Director of Program Management openings at Molex that are confirmed to include visa sponsorship. Tailoring your application to a specific Molex business unit, such as automotive or data solutions, rather than applying to every open role, will significantly improve your response rate.
Which visa types does Molex commonly use for Director of Program Management roles?
Molex sponsors several visa categories for this role, including H-1B for specialty occupation workers, TN for qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals, and F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates in the pipeline. For longer-term immigration, Molex supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through PERM labor certification, which is common for director-level employees after an initial nonimmigrant visa period.
What qualifications does Molex expect for a Director of Program Management?
Molex typically expects a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field, with a master's degree or PMP certification preferred at the director level. Candidates should have substantial experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in a manufacturing or electronics environment. Experience managing global supplier relationships or regional program delivery across multiple time zones strengthens your candidacy considerably.
How long does the sponsorship and hiring process take at Molex for this role?
From offer to work authorization, the timeline depends heavily on your current visa status. H-1B transfers for candidates already in H-1B status can happen within weeks. New H-1B cap-subject petitions require waiting for the October 1 start date after April lottery selection. F-1 OPT candidates can start immediately if their authorization is current. PERM-based Green Card processes through DOL typically take one to two years beyond your initial employment start.
