About Mytra:
We’re creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We’re focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.
About the role
Mytra operates a single ~100,000 sq ft facility that serves as our headquarters for in-person employees and the home of critical R&D and manufacturing activities, including build areas for our products, a manufacturing line for our bots, and demo R&D racking systems.
As a Facilities Manager at Mytra, you will have full ownership of the strategy and execution for our leased ~100,000 sq ft HQ facility during a period of rapid growth. You will independently define the methods, standards, and operating cadence for facilities work, making complex tradeoff decisions across safety, uptime, cost, and business priorities with minimal day-to-day guidance.
This role reports to the VP of Operations and will be the sole Facilities Manager for the company. You will partner closely with an in-house Facilities Technician who executes small projects and maintenance tasks at your direction, and you will lead and coordinate external vendors, architects, engineers, and contractors.
Because our space is leased, you will also engage heavily with the landlord’s Property Manager, who coordinates work for base-building systems and issues (for example: fire alarm, sprinklers, roof leaks, and central system HVAC repairs). You will ensure clear ownership boundaries, rapid issue resolution, and smooth coordination between Mytra, the landlord, and contractors. You will liaise closely with EHS to ensure compliant and safe work practices.
What you’ll do:
- Own end-to-end facilities strategy and operations for our leased ~100,000 sq ft mixed-use HQ (office, R&D build, manufacturing line, and demo areas), ensuring reliability, safety, and a high-quality workplace experience.
- Define and implement scalable facilities operating practices: preventive maintenance program, asset register, vendor/contractor SOPs, and project governance.
- Lead complex, ambiguous capital and renovation initiatives end-to-end: develop approach and execution plan, scope requirements with stakeholders, engage architects/engineers, create budgets and schedules, run bids, select contractors, obtain permits, and oversee execution through closeout.
- Deliver near-term office expansion to support rapid headcount growth, including major building systems work (such as new or expanded HVAC) and coordination of impacts to R&D and manufacturing uptime.
- Own high-stakes vendor and contractor management: performance expectations, site safety, quality control, schedule adherence, and cost control.
- Engage heavily with the landlord’s Property Manager to coordinate base-building items and repairs (fire alarm, sprinklers, roof leaks, central system HVAC repairs, etc.), ensuring fast resolution, clear accountability, and clean communication.
- Partner with EHS on risk assessments, safe work permits, contractor safety management, and compliance for both construction activities and ongoing operations.
- Own facilities financial planning: annual budget, capex planning, forecasting, and reporting; proactively surface tradeoffs and recommendations to the VP of Operations.
- Lead longer-term facility planning for Mytra’s growth trajectory (multi-year horizon): requirements gathering, feasibility exploration, and early engagement with external partners as needed.
Ideal Candidates:
- Have 8+ years of facilities management and facilities project delivery experience in a complex environment (hardware, manufacturing, lab, warehouse, or mixed-use industrial sites).
- Have a track record of independently leading large and ambiguous construction or renovation projects involving MEP trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), including HVAC design and installation.
- Can define the approach and execution plan for new or ambiguous initiatives, balancing technical, operational, and business tradeoffs with minimal guidance.
- Understand how to scope work with architects and engineers and can translate ambiguous needs into clear requirements, drawings, schedules, and budgets.
- Are comfortable owning permitting strategy, inspections, and coordination with AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction).
- Demonstrate excellent vendor and contractor management and enforce high standards for safety, quality, reliability, and communication.
- Communicate clearly and directly, can align diverse stakeholders, and can drive projects to completion in a fast-moving environment.
- Work effectively with EHS partners and are committed to building safe systems and safe job sites.
Nice to have:
- Experience supporting robotics, automation, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with California building codes and Bay Area permitting processes.
- Experience supporting space planning for rapid growth (office + industrial) and scaling workplace operations.
A Final Note:
If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply — even if you don’t check every box. At Mytra, we build bots, but we hire humans. We value thoughtful challengers who communicate with clarity and respect, and we’re lifelong learners committed to getting better every day. We move fast, learn faster, and show up for each other under pressure. The best outcomes come from diverse perspectives working together to build something meaningful and built to last.
Benefits Include:
- Competitive compensation and equity grants at a high-growth company backed by top-tier VCs
- Fully subsidized health coverage, including medical (baseline plans), dental, and vision for employees and dependents
- 401(k) plans and employer-subsidized life insurance
- Fully subsidized lunch and snacks at HQ—we eat and share stories together at the “long” table
- Generous PTO and company-paid holidays, including one week over the winter break so everyone can recharge together
- Voluntary pet insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity
- Fully subsidized tax advisory services and education to help you understand your equity
- Commuter benefits, including a up to $150 monthly commuter benefit
- Lively, modern combined office and lab space where we rapidly iterate through design, build, and test phases
- Fully equipped onsite gym and showers at headquarters

How to Get Visa Sponsorship in MYTra Visa Sponsorship USA
Target technical roles first
MYTra's sponsorship history is concentrated in technology and software positions. Engineers, developers, and technical specialists are the strongest fit. Focus your application on roles that align with MYTra's core product and infrastructure teams for the best sponsorship outcomes.
Understand which visas MYTra supports
MYTra sponsors both H-1B and employment-based Green Cards. If you're already in the H-1B pipeline, MYTra may also support a longer-term immigration path, worth asking during the offer or negotiation stage.
Prepare for a specialty occupation argument
H-1B approval requires proving your role qualifies as a specialty occupation. For a software company like MYTra, document how your specific position requires a degree in a directly related field, not just any technical background.
Find open roles through verified sponsorship data
Not every job listing discloses sponsorship status upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time you'd otherwise spend cold-applying to companies that don't actually sponsor.
Tailor your resume to MYTra's tech stack
Technology companies review resumes closely for specific technical skills. Research MYTra's products and engineering focus, then align your resume to reflect that domain expertise. Sponsorship decisions are easier for employers when the hire is clearly a strong technical match.

Yes, MYTra sponsors H-1B visas. The company has a consistent track record of filing H-1B petitions for technology and software roles, making it a realistic target for international candidates in those fields. If you're applying for a technical position, it's worth confirming sponsorship availability directly with the recruiter during the screening stage.
What types of visas does MYTra sponsor?
MYTra sponsors H-1B visas for temporary work authorization and employment-based Green Cards, including EB-2 and EB-3 pathways, for eligible employees. The H-1B is the more common entry point, while Green Card sponsorship typically follows after an employee has been with the company for some time and demonstrated strong performance.
Which roles at MYTra are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at MYTra is most common in technical and software-focused roles, consistent with the company's industry. Positions in software engineering, product development, and related technical disciplines are the strongest candidates. Roles that require a specific degree in a relevant field are better positioned for H-1B approval than generalist positions.
How do I find open jobs at MYTra that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find MYTra roles with confirmed sponsorship history. Unlike general job boards, Migrate Mate filters opportunities by verified sponsorship data so you can apply with confidence that the employer has an active track record.
