Target roles aligned with Green Card sponsorship
NeoGenomics has historically prioritized permanent residency sponsorship over temporary work visas. Focus your applications on specialized laboratory, genomics, and clinical science roles where the company has demonstrated a consistent commitment to long-term sponsorship.
Understand the EB-2 and EB-3 pathways they use
NeoGenomics sponsors both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards. If your background includes advanced degrees or exceptional expertise in oncology diagnostics, an EB-2 petition may be the faster route, worth clarifying with the recruiter early in the process.
Leverage F-1 OPT and CPT as your entry point
NeoGenomics sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, making it accessible for international students in life sciences or healthcare programs. Securing an OPT position is a practical way to demonstrate value before pursuing permanent residency sponsorship down the line.
Highlight specialized technical skills in your application
In oncology diagnostics and genomics, NeoGenomics looks for highly specialized competencies. Emphasize certifications, laboratory techniques, and domain expertise specific to cancer testing, these are the profiles most likely to receive sponsorship consideration in this industry.
Ask about sponsorship policy during the recruiter screen
Not every open role at NeoGenomics carries a sponsorship offer. Confirm visa support early in the hiring process, ideally during the initial recruiter call, so you don't invest time in interviews for roles that won't support your immigration needs.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsoring roles
When searching for NeoGenomics openings, prioritize platforms that verify sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces confirmed sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship track records, helping you focus only on roles where international candidates have a genuine shot.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does NeoGenomics Laboratories sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, NeoGenomics Laboratories does not currently have a strong H-1B visa sponsorship history. The company's immigration support has focused primarily on permanent residency through EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for students. If H-1B visa sponsorship is a requirement for you, confirm directly with their recruiting team before applying.
What visa types does NeoGenomics Laboratories sponsor?
NeoGenomics Laboratories sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Cards, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for international students. They also sponsor TN visas for qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals. Their sponsorship activity skews toward permanent residency pathways, which is relatively uncommon among employers of their size and reflects a commitment to retaining specialized talent long-term.
Which departments or roles at NeoGenomics Laboratories are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at NeoGenomics is most commonly associated with technical and scientific roles in oncology diagnostics, genomics, laboratory science, and clinical operations. Positions requiring advanced degrees or highly specialized skills, such as molecular biologists, laboratory directors, bioinformaticians, and pathology specialists, tend to align most closely with the EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship patterns the company has demonstrated.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at NeoGenomics Laboratories?
The most reliable approach is to search on Migrate Mate, which aggregates jobs from verified sponsoring employers and lets you filter specifically for NeoGenomics Laboratories. This ensures you're only seeing roles where the company has a documented sponsorship history, saving you from applying to positions that may not support international candidates. Check listings regularly as new roles are added frequently.
How do I approach the application process at NeoGenomics Laboratories as an international candidate?
Start by targeting roles that match your specialized skills in healthcare or laboratory science, since NeoGenomics' sponsorship is concentrated in technical positions. Raise your visa situation during the recruiter screen, not at the offer stage, to confirm support early. If you're on F-1 OPT, NeoGenomics' track record of sponsoring students into permanent residency makes it worth pursuing as a long-term career move, not just a short-term placement.
