Align Your Credentials with U.S. Licensure Requirements
Mental health roles in healthcare settings require state licensure, so verify your credentials meet the specific state requirements where North American Dental Group operates before applying. Foreign-trained clinicians often need credential evaluations through NACES-approved bodies before licensure boards will act.
Target Multi-Site Dental Groups Over Single Practices
Large dental service organizations like North American Dental Group have dedicated HR and legal infrastructure to handle immigration filings. Smaller private practices rarely do. Focusing your search on DSO networks significantly increases your odds of finding an employer equipped to sponsor.
Request an LCA Before Signing Any Offer
Before your H-1B petition can be filed, your employer must certify a Labor Condition Application with the DOL. Ask the hiring team to confirm this step is in their onboarding workflow for sponsored hires so there are no delays after you accept.
Prioritize Roles Tied to Integrated Care Programs
North American Dental Group embeds mental health support within its patient care model. Applying to roles explicitly linked to integrated or behavioral health programs positions you for sponsorship tracks that are more established within their existing hiring pipeline.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Active Mental Health Openings
Sponsorship-eligible mental health jobs at healthcare employers aren't always labeled clearly on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter for North American Dental Group openings that explicitly support visa categories relevant to your situation, saving time on applications unlikely to lead anywhere.
Understand the PERM Timeline If You're Targeting a Green Card
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship for mental health roles typically involves PERM labor certification, which requires your employer to run a supervised recruitment process through the DOL. This can take 12 to 18 months before an I-140 petition is even filed, so initiate the conversation early.

Does North American Dental Group sponsor H-1B visas for Mental Healths?
Yes, North American Dental Group has sponsored H-1B visas for roles in the mental health function. As a large dental service organization operating across multiple states, it has the HR and legal infrastructure to support H-1B petitions. If you're in active conversations with their team, confirm early that the specific role and location are included in their sponsored headcount plan.
Which visa types does North American Dental Group support for Mental Health roles?
North American Dental Group supports several visa categories for mental health hires, including H-1B for specialty occupation roles, F-1 OPT and CPT for students in eligible programs, TN for qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term permanent residence pathways.
What qualifications does North American Dental Group expect for Mental Health positions?
Expectations vary by role, but most mental health positions in a healthcare setting require at minimum a master's degree in counseling, social work, or clinical psychology, along with active state licensure in the state where you'd be working. Roles embedded in patient care programs may also require experience with behavioral health screening tools and documentation in electronic health records systems.
How do I apply for Mental Health jobs at North American Dental Group?
You can browse open mental health positions at North American Dental Group directly through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles with active visa sponsorship support. When applying, tailor your resume to highlight clinical experience relevant to integrated or behavioral health care settings, and clearly indicate your work authorization status and visa category in your application materials.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Mental Health role at North American Dental Group?
For H-1B sponsorship, your employer files the petition after securing a certified LCA from the DOL, typically targeting the April 1 cap-subject filing window with an October 1 start date. Premium processing through USCIS can reduce adjudication to 15 business days. For Green Card sponsorship via PERM, expect at least 12 to 18 months for the DOL certification phase alone before the I-140 stage begins.
