Tailor your resume to dental operations
Highlight experience with patient scheduling software, insurance verification, or multi-location office coordination. North American Dental Group runs high-volume practices, so showing familiarity with healthcare administrative workflows signals you can contribute from day one.
Research which practice locations are hiring
North American Dental Group operates across multiple states with varying staffing needs. Target locations with active openings rather than applying broadly. Practices in states with looser administrative licensing requirements tend to move faster through the hiring process.
Prepare your credentials for PERM if applicable
If you're pursuing an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card path through North American Dental Group, your employer will need to run a PERM labor certification with the DOL. Gather official transcripts, degree evaluations, and prior employment records early since PERM documentation requirements are strict.
Use Migrate Mate to find sponsored openings
Not every Administrative Assistant listing at North American Dental Group will advertise visa sponsorship explicitly. Use Migrate Mate to filter for roles at this company that have a confirmed sponsorship history, so you're not wasting applications on positions that won't support your immigration needs.
Understand OPT cap-gap risks for healthcare roles
If you're on F-1 OPT and your H-1B is selected in the lottery, your cap-gap protection covers you through September 30. For a healthcare administrative role, confirm with your employer that USCIS receipt notice timing aligns with their onboarding schedule before accepting.

Find Administrative Assistant at North American Dental Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does North American Dental Group sponsor H-1B visas for Administrative Assistants?
Yes, North American Dental Group has sponsored H-1B visas for Administrative Assistant roles. That said, H-1B sponsorship for administrative positions requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, which means your degree field should have a direct connection to the duties of the job. Candidates with degrees in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field are better positioned to meet that threshold.
Which visa types are commonly used for Administrative Assistant roles at North American Dental Group?
North American Dental Group has supported H-1B, EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Administrative Assistant positions. OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways are longer-term options that require the company to sponsor a PERM labor certification through the DOL.
What qualifications and experience are expected for Administrative Assistant roles at North American Dental Group?
Most Administrative Assistant roles at North American Dental Group expect experience in a clinical or dental office setting, familiarity with patient scheduling platforms, and the ability to manage insurance verification and billing coordination. A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field strengthens your application, particularly if you're seeking H-1B sponsorship, since the role needs to meet USCIS specialty occupation criteria.
How do I apply for Administrative Assistant jobs at North American Dental Group?
You can search for open Administrative Assistant positions through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles with confirmed visa sponsorship history at North American Dental Group. When applying, clearly indicate your visa type and authorization status in your application. Given the company's multi-site structure, specifying your preferred region and availability to start can help hiring managers match you to the right practice location faster.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing visa sponsorship through North American Dental Group?
Timeline depends heavily on your visa category. F-1 OPT authorization can begin up to 90 days before your program end date, giving you a near-term work option. H-1B petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start, so your offer needs to come well before then. PERM-based Green Card processes through the DOL typically take 12 to 24 months before an I-140 petition can even be filed, so start conversations about long-term sponsorship early.
