Tailor credentials to dental healthcare settings
Certifications in dental assisting, radiography, or patient care technician programs strengthen your application for North American Dental Group. Clinically focused credentials signal you can step into a patient-facing role without extended onboarding.
Identify open roles by regional dental market
North American Dental Group operates practices across multiple states with varying staffing needs. Target locations in states where dental staffing shortages are most acute, since those practices carry more urgency to fill Healthcare Assistant positions quickly.
Clarify sponsorship eligibility before your interview
During the offer stage, ask directly whether the specific practice location handles sponsorship centrally through corporate HR or locally. Multi-site dental groups sometimes route H-1B filings and PERM labor certification through a central immigration team, which affects your filing timeline.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Healthcare Assistant openings
Browse Healthcare Assistant listings specifically at North American Dental Group using Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you only see positions relevant to your status, whether H-1B, TN, or F-1 OPT.
Align your OPT start date with practice hiring cycles
Dental practices tend to ramp hiring around patient volume peaks. If you're on F-1 OPT, time your application so your authorized work period overlaps with the practice's peak season, giving you a longer runway before your employer needs to file an H-1B cap petition on your behalf.
Prepare for PERM documentation early in the process
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, DOL requires your employer to document that no qualified U.S. workers were available for your role. Gather employment records, transcripts, and any state-issued healthcare credentials before your offer is finalized to avoid delays when PERM recruitment begins.

Does North American Dental Group sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcare Assistants?
Yes, North American Dental Group has sponsored H-1B visas for Healthcare Assistants. Because the role sits within a clinical support function, your degree field and job duties need to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation requirements. Confirm with their HR team that the specific position you're offered meets the H-1B criteria, as this can vary by practice location and role scope.
Which visa types are commonly used for Healthcare Assistant roles at North American Dental Group?
H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and employment-based Green Card categories (EB-2 and EB-3) are all pathways the company has used for this role. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying healthcare occupations. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Healthcare Assistant positions?
North American Dental Group typically looks for candidates with a relevant associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, hands-on clinical or dental office experience, and any applicable state licensure or certification. Patient communication skills and familiarity with dental practice management software are practical differentiators that strengthen your profile for these roles.
How do I apply for Healthcare Assistant jobs at North American Dental Group?
Search for Healthcare Assistant openings on Migrate Mate, where listings are filtered by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm the role fits your immigration status before applying. When you apply, note your visa status clearly in your application materials and follow up with their corporate HR team to confirm the sponsorship process for your specific practice location.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship through North American Dental Group?
The H-1B cap lottery opens in March each year, with an October 1 start date for selected petitions. If you're on F-1 OPT, aim to have an offer secured by late fall or early winter so your employer has time to prepare your petition before the March registration window. USCIS premium processing is available to reduce approval wait times if your OPT expiration is close.
