Does Northern California Institute for Research and Education sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Northern California Institute for Research and Education sponsors H-1B visas. It has an established sponsorship track record in the science and research sector, supporting international professionals in qualifying specialty occupation roles. Positions requiring a degree in a specific scientific or clinical field are most likely to be eligible for H-1B sponsorship through NCIRE.
What visa types does Northern California Institute for Research and Education sponsor?
NCIRE sponsors H-1B visas for professional research roles and supports F-1 students through both OPT and CPT programs. It does not have a documented track record of sponsoring Green Cards or E-3 visas. International candidates are most likely to gain sponsorship through a student work authorization pathway that transitions into an H-1B petition.
What types of roles at Northern California Institute for Research and Education are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at NCIRE is concentrated in research-focused roles, think research coordinators, biostatisticians, postdoctoral researchers, and clinical research associates. These positions align with NCIRE's VA-affiliated scientific programs and require the kind of specialized degree background that supports an H-1B specialty occupation determination. Administrative or generalist roles are far less likely to qualify.
How do I find open jobs at Northern California Institute for Research and Education that offer visa sponsorship?
The most reliable approach is to use Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsoring employers and lets you filter by visa type and company. Because NCIRE is a research institute, positions may also be posted through its affiliated VA programs or individual PI lab pages. Checking both institutional and department-level postings increases your chances of finding relevant openings.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored by Northern California Institute for Research and Education?
Prioritize roles that map directly to your degree field, NCIRE's H-1B filings are in research disciplines where specialty occupation requirements are clear-cut. If you're currently on F-1 status, pursuing an OPT or CPT position at NCIRE first is a practical way to build institutional familiarity before petitioning for H-1B sponsorship. Tailoring your application to NCIRE's specific research focus areas strengthens your candidacy significantly.
