Reimbursement Specialist I

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Verify insurance benefits, eligibility, cost-share, and determine correct billing responsibility for new and existing patients
• Independently manage a personal reimbursement workload to confirm medical necessity and secure accurate insurance payments
• Submit, track, and follow up on prior authorizations; interpret denials and prepare appeals as needed; ensure accuracy of authorizations and pricing agreements
• Conduct timely insurance benefit verifications for new and existing patients
• Research payer policies, manage in-network/out-of-network requirements (including LOAs), and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and support timely reimbursement
• Submit and follow up on authorization requests and claims via phone and payer portals

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 0-2 years’ experience in a reimbursement-related function, DME-specific experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred

WHAT WE OFFER

The pay range which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is $43,000-$71,000/yr. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.

NOVOFLEX

This role is based on-site in Portsmouth, NH and supports multiple local office locations. Occasional overtime may be required to support events or business needs.
