Target roles aligned with Novocure's core research focus
Novocure's sponsorship activity centers on scientific and clinical research functions. Focus your applications on roles in biomedical engineering, oncology research, clinical operations, and data science, these are most likely to attract visa sponsorship consideration from the company.
Prioritize early outreach before your OPT window closes
Novocure's hiring timelines for sponsored roles can span several months. If you're on F-1 OPT, start engaging with their recruiting team well before your authorization expires, early outreach significantly improves your odds of a smooth sponsorship process.
Align your background with Novocure's specialty occupation requirements
H-1B sponsorship at Novocure requires your degree field to match the role directly. Candidates with degrees in biomedical engineering, life sciences, or clinical research are best positioned, ensure your resume makes that connection explicit and unambiguous.

Find Novocure JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Novocure sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Novocure sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established track record of filing H-1B petitions, particularly for scientific and clinical research roles requiring specialized degree-level expertise. If you're targeting Novocure, focus on positions where your degree field maps directly to the role, that alignment is essential for H-1B approval.
Which visa types does Novocure sponsor?
Novocure sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas. This makes it accessible to a range of international candidates, from recent F-1 graduates using OPT to Canadian and Mexican nationals eligible for TN status in qualifying scientific roles. Green Card sponsorship has not been a consistent part of Novocure's recent filing activity.
Which departments or roles at Novocure are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Novocure is concentrated in its core scientific and clinical functions. Roles in biomedical engineering, oncology research, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and data science are the strongest candidates. Corporate generalist roles in areas like marketing or general administration are less likely to meet the specialty occupation threshold required for H-1B sponsorship.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Novocure?
Novocure's job postings don't always specify visa sponsorship availability upfront, which makes it difficult to filter on standard job boards. Migrate Mate indexes employers by their actual sponsorship history, so you can browse Novocure's open roles with confidence that sponsorship has been part of their hiring practice, saving you from applying blind.
How do I time my application to Novocure around the H-1B cap cycle?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with USCIS typically opening registration in March for an October 1 start date. If you're targeting Novocure, aim to have an offer in hand by late January or February at the latest. That gives the company enough lead time to prepare your petition before the registration window opens.
