Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
Nusano's work in Chemicals & Materials typically requires degree-level expertise in chemistry, physics, or engineering. Focus your application on roles where your specific academic background directly maps to the job's technical requirements, this strengthens the specialty occupation case.
Explore TN visa eligibility if you're Canadian or Mexican
Nusano sponsors TN visas in addition to H-1B, which matters if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship. TN processing is faster and skips the lottery entirely, making it a strong alternative path into Nusano for qualifying STEM professionals.
Position your application around deep technical specialization
Companies in Chemicals & Materials sponsor visas for roles requiring knowledge that's hard to source domestically. Highlight niche expertise, isotope production, radiation chemistry, nuclear medicine materials, rather than broad skills that don't differentiate you from local candidates.
Apply during hiring cycles when sponsorship decisions are made early
At smaller specialty companies like Nusano, sponsorship decisions are made at the offer stage, not after. Raise your visa status early in conversations so hiring managers can align with legal and HR before extending an offer, avoiding late-stage surprises.
Research open roles using a platform that filters by verified sponsorship history
Not every job listing signals real sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by actual sponsorship history, saving time you'd otherwise spend applying to companies that won't support your visa.
Understand that smaller sponsor volumes can still mean strong commitment
Nusano isn't a mass-hiring corporation, so sponsorship activity reflects focused hiring for specialized talent. A company that sponsors selectively in Chemicals & Materials is often more invested in each candidate's long-term success than high-volume sponsors hiring at scale.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Nusano sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Nusano sponsors H-1B visas. The company operates in the Chemicals & Materials industry, where specialized technical roles in areas like isotope production and nuclear materials research commonly require international talent holding degrees in chemistry, physics, or engineering. H-1B sponsorship at Nusano is tied to these highly technical positions rather than generalist or administrative roles.
What visa types does Nusano sponsor?
Nusano sponsors both H-1B and TN visas. The H-1B is the primary pathway for most international applicants, while the TN is available exclusively to Canadian and Mexican citizens working in qualifying STEM occupations. If you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship and your role fits TN categories, that route can be faster and avoids the H-1B lottery entirely.
What types of roles at Nusano are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Nusano is concentrated in technical and scientific roles that directly support its work in Chemicals & Materials, think research scientists, process engineers, nuclear medicine specialists, and materials scientists. Roles requiring a specific degree in a specialized field are the strongest candidates for H-1B or TN sponsorship. General operational or non-technical positions are less likely to qualify.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Nusano?
The most reliable way to find verified sponsorship opportunities at Nusano is through Migrate Mate, which filters job listings by confirmed sponsorship history rather than relying on self-reported employer claims. This saves time and surfaces roles where sponsorship is a real part of the hiring process, not just an afterthought listed in a job description.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored by Nusano?
Lead with technical depth. Nusano hires for specialized knowledge in a niche industry, so your application should make your domain expertise immediately clear. Mention your visa status and type early in the process so Nusano's HR team can plan accordingly. If you hold a Canadian or Mexican passport, ask specifically about the TN pathway, it's faster and less administratively complex than the H-1B for qualifying roles.
