Job Roles at ONE Gas Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in ONE Gas Visa Sponsorship USA
Target engineering and operations roles
ONE Gas's sponsorship activity centers on technical disciplines common in natural gas distribution, think pipeline engineering, gas operations, and infrastructure management. Focusing your application on these areas aligns with where the company has historically needed sponsored talent.
Understand the Green Card pathway they use
ONE Gas has sponsored through employment-based Green Card categories rather than temporary work visas. If you're seeking long-term U.S. permanent residency in the energy sector, this sponsorship profile may align well with your immigration goals.
Research ONE Gas's service territory
ONE Gas operates primarily in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. Demonstrating knowledge of the regulatory environment in those states and familiarity with regional energy infrastructure signals genuine interest and improves your candidacy significantly.
Browse verified energy sponsors before applying
Not every energy company sponsors visas consistently. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your time on companies like ONE Gas that have an actual track record in your visa category.
Engage with ONE Gas's recruitment process early
Regulated utilities like ONE Gas move through structured hiring timelines. Reaching out to their talent acquisition team early, and being transparent about your visa needs during initial conversations, helps avoid late-stage surprises that can derail an offer.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does ONE Gas sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, ONE Gas has not been an active H-1B sponsor. The company's immigration activity has been focused on employment-based Green Card categories rather than temporary nonimmigrant work visas. If H-1B sponsorship is a requirement for your situation, it's worth confirming directly with ONE Gas's HR team before applying.
What visa types does ONE Gas sponsor?
ONE Gas's sponsorship history is concentrated in the employment-based Green Card pathway, specifically EB-2 and EB-3 categories. These are immigrant visa classifications designed for professionals with bachelor's degrees or higher and skilled workers in specialized fields. This makes ONE Gas a more relevant target for candidates pursuing permanent residency rather than a temporary work visa.
What types of roles at ONE Gas are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at ONE Gas is most commonly associated with technical and engineering positions tied to natural gas distribution, roles such as pipeline engineers, gas systems engineers, and operations specialists. These positions typically require specific degree qualifications that align with EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship criteria, making them the most likely candidates for the company's immigration support.
How do I find open jobs at ONE Gas that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find ONE Gas roles that are associated with visa sponsorship history. Rather than sifting through general job boards where sponsorship details are often missing or inaccurate, Migrate Mate lets you filter opportunities by company and verified sponsorship track record, so you can apply with confidence that the employer has sponsored candidates before.
How do I approach the application timeline when targeting ONE Gas for Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 is a multi-step process that typically begins after you've secured an offer and started employment. ONE Gas would need to complete PERM labor certification through the Department of Labor before filing an immigrant petition. Plan for a process that can take a year or more from offer acceptance to petition filing, depending on your role and the company's legal team timeline.
