How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Penske Automotive Group Visa Sponsorship USA
Target corporate and technical roles over dealership floor positions
Penske Automotive Group's visa sponsorship activity is concentrated in professional and technical functions rather than sales floor roles. Focus your search on corporate, IT, finance, and operations positions where specialty occupation requirements are easier to establish.
Understand that automotive retail sponsorship is selective
Visa sponsorship in automotive retail is less common than in tech or finance. Penske does sponsor, but not at high volume, so tailor your application to clearly demonstrate why your specific skills cannot be filled by a U.S. worker.
Align your degree with the role's specialty occupation standard
For H-1B eligibility, your job must require a specific bachelor's degree or higher. In automotive corporate roles, engineering, accounting, or IT degrees map cleanly. Ensure the job posting reflects a degree requirement, not just a preference.
Highlight relevant industry experience upfront
Penske operates across automotive retail, commercial vehicles, and fleet services. Candidates who can demonstrate direct industry knowledge, such as OEM systems, dealer operations, or fleet logistics, stand out in a sector where domain expertise is genuinely valued.
Apply early in the hiring cycle to allow time for sponsorship processing
Sponsorship at companies with selective programs requires internal approvals that take time. Applying months before your OPT or status deadline gives Penske's HR and legal teams room to move. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and plan ahead.
Check whether your role qualifies under OPT or CPT before targeting H-1B
Penske has sponsored F-1 OPT and CPT candidates, making it a realistic entry point for international students. If you're on OPT, securing a role now builds the employer relationship that makes a future H-1B or Green Card petition more likely.

Does Penske Automotive Group sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Penske Automotive Group does sponsor H-1B visas. Sponsorship is selective rather than high-volume, so it tends to be reserved for professional and technical roles where the position meets the specialty occupation standard. If you're targeting Penske for H-1B sponsorship, focus on corporate functions such as IT, finance, or engineering where degree requirements are clearly defined and documented in the job posting.
What visa types does Penske Automotive Group sponsor?
Penske Automotive Group sponsors H-1B visas for skilled specialty occupation roles and has also supported Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications. The company has additionally worked with F-1 OPT and CPT candidates, making it accessible to international students early in their careers. This range of visa types means there are entry points at multiple stages of an immigration journey.
Which departments or roles at Penske Automotive Group are most likely to offer visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Penske Automotive Group is most common in corporate and technical functions, including information technology, finance, accounting, and operations management. These roles align well with specialty occupation requirements. Dealership-level sales and service positions are far less likely to result in sponsorship, as they typically don't require a specific degree field the way professional corporate roles do.
How do I find open roles at Penske Automotive Group that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find roles at Penske Automotive Group that come with verified sponsorship history. Rather than guessing which postings might lead to a sponsored offer, Migrate Mate filters employers by their actual visa sponsorship track record, so you can apply with confidence. Search for Penske directly on the platform and filter by visa type to match your situation.
How do I approach the application process at Penske Automotive Group as an international candidate?
Apply directly to roles that clearly state a degree requirement in a specific field, as these are the positions most likely to qualify for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship. Be upfront about your visa status early in conversations with recruiters, and give yourself as much lead time as possible before your current work authorization expires. Penske's sponsorship decisions are made role by role, so a strong case for your specialized value matters.
