ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support internal stakeholders by gathering requirements and assisting with the transformation, filtering, and organization of data into meaningful reports and data models.
- Assist with acquiring, importing, and maintaining large datasets using internal software tools and systems.
- Help analyze and interpret data to support problem-solving and business decision-making.
- Collaborate with data engineers and team members to support the development and improvement of analytical tools and reports.
- Maintain data accuracy, quality, and compliance with company information security standards.
- Assist with reliability data analysis, reporting, and data management activities to support operational performance initiatives.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of historical reporting, data retention, and data mining processes.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of Reliability Engineering and Reliability Reporting tools, processes, and projects.
- Provide day-to-day analytical and technical support to internal teams related to data, reporting, and analytics.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and support business objectives.
- Continuously learn and apply new tools, technologies, and best practices related to analytics and Big Data.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years relevant experience
- Excel, Microsoft, and PowerPoint Expertise. (Microsoft Excel utilization of pivot tables, v look up, algorithms, and excel other functions).
- SAP and PowerBi experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are paired with the ability to develop creative and effective solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, clustering and classification techniques, and recommendation and optimization algorithms.
- Experience working with a large volume of data with the ability to solve problems.
- Knowledge of the electric distribution systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
