Akoya’s spatial phenotyping platforms help researchers visualize and measure how cells organize and interact within tissue to influence disease progression and therapeutic response. From discovery through clinical research, Akoya offers a full continuum of solutions, including PhenoCycler®, PhenoImager® Fusion and HT, and PhenoCode™ Panels. As part of Quanterix, Akoya complements a leading portfolio of ultra-sensitive biomarker detection technologies, together enabling a more complete view of biology and disease across both tissue and blood.

Target scientific and research roles first
Quanterix's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical and scientific functions. Focus your applications on roles in research, assay development, or biomarker analysis, where the company has a demonstrated history of supporting international candidates.
Understand the Green Card pathway Quanterix uses
Quanterix sponsors permanent residency through EB-2 and EB-3 categories. If long-term U.S. settlement is your goal, ask recruiters early about the company's PERM process and typical timelines for moving from temporary status to Green Card sponsorship.
Highlight OPT and CPT eligibility in your application
Quanterix has sponsored F-1 OPT and CPT candidates, which signals openness to early-career international talent. If you're currently on OPT, make your work authorization status and remaining validity period clear upfront to avoid confusion during screening.
Leverage TN status if you're Canadian or Mexican
Quanterix sponsors TN visas, which is valuable for Canadian and Mexican professionals in qualifying science and research roles. TN sponsorship typically moves faster than other visa types, so lead with this eligibility if it applies to your situation.
Filter for verified sponsors before applying
Not every life sciences employer actively sponsors visas. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus on companies like Quanterix that have a confirmed track record rather than guessing from job descriptions.
Come prepared to discuss your visa timeline with the hiring team
Quanterix's sponsorship process involves coordination between HR and legal teams. Research the PERM and EB-2/EB-3 process before your interviews so you can answer timeline questions confidently and signal that you understand what sponsorship involves.
Frequently Asked Questions

Based on available sponsorship data, Quanterix does not currently appear to sponsor H-1B visas. The company's sponsorship activity is focused on permanent residency pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, along with F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. If H-1B visa sponsorship is essential to your situation, clarify this directly with Quanterix's HR team during early conversations.
What visa types does Quanterix sponsor?
Quanterix sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This makes it a practical option for international candidates at various career stages, from students completing OPT periods to experienced professionals pursuing permanent residency. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying science roles should also explore TN eligibility with Quanterix.
Which roles at Quanterix are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Quanterix is most commonly associated with technical and scientific roles, reflecting the company's focus on ultrasensitive detection technology and biomarker research. Positions in research and development, assay development, and data science are the most likely candidates for sponsorship support. Corporate or administrative roles are less commonly sponsored at biotech companies of this size.
How do I find open sponsored roles at Quanterix?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find Quanterix roles that come with verified visa sponsorship history. You can filter by company and visa type to confirm which positions align with your authorization needs before applying. This saves time compared to applying broadly and discovering sponsorship limitations late in the hiring process.
How do I approach the application process at Quanterix as an international candidate?
Disclose your visa status early and be specific about your current authorization, whether that's OPT, CPT, or TN eligibility. For permanent residency interest, ask about the PERM process timeline during or after your first recruiter screen. Quanterix's HR team works with immigration counsel, so being informed about EB-2 and EB-3 requirements signals professionalism and reduces friction for both sides.
