Frame your credentials around specialty occupation standards
Business Development roles can be ambiguous at USCIS. Document how your degree directly ties to duties like market analysis, contract negotiation, or channel strategy in industrial distribution to strengthen a specialty occupation argument.
Research Stiles Machinery's distribution verticals before applying
Stiles serves woodworking machinery and manufacturing markets. Tailor your application to show familiarity with dealer networks, OEM relationships, or territory management in industrial wholesale rather than general sales experience.
Target roles with a clear territory or vertical ownership
Business Development postings at Stiles often involve defined geographic or product-line responsibility. Roles with measurable scope are easier for employers to justify in a Labor Condition Application when prevailing wage benchmarks require specificity.
Clarify OPT and CPT authorization early in conversations
If you're on an F-1 visa, confirm whether the role qualifies under your STEM or standard OPT authorization before the offer stage. Stiles has sponsored F-1 OPT and CPT candidates, so raising this early avoids timeline surprises once an offer is extended.
Ask directly about TN eligibility for your specific role
Canadian and Mexican nationals in Business Development may qualify for TN status under the Management Consultant category, but the job duties must align closely with DOL's defined criteria. Verify this with the hiring team before the offer letter is drafted.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Business Development roles at Stiles
Searching for sponsor-friendly roles in industrial distribution takes time. Migrate Mate filters Stiles Machinery's open Business Development positions by visa type, so you can focus your applications on roles that match your current authorization.

Find Business Development at Stiles Machinery JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Stiles Machinery sponsor H-1B visas for Business Developments?
Stiles Machinery's sponsorship history for Business Development roles is concentrated in EB-2, EB-3, and F-1 OPT and CPT pathways rather than H-1B. If an H-1B is your target, it's worth confirming directly with the recruiter whether a specific role qualifies as a specialty occupation and whether the team is prepared to file, since sponsorship decisions are made role by role.
How do I apply for Business Development jobs at Stiles Machinery?
You can browse and apply for Stiles Machinery's current Business Development openings through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles filtered by visa sponsorship type. When applying, tailor your materials to the machinery distribution context: emphasize territory management, dealer relationships, or industrial sales experience rather than general business development skills.
Which visa types does Stiles Machinery commonly use for Business Development roles?
Stiles Machinery has supported EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa sponsorship for Business Development hires, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for candidates earlier in their careers. Canadian and Mexican nationals should also explore TN status under the Management Consultant category, which can be an efficient path for qualifying Business Development roles in distribution and wholesale.
What qualifications does Stiles Machinery expect from Business Development candidates?
Stiles operates in the machinery distribution and manufacturing sector, so relevant experience means channel development, territory sales, or dealer network management in an industrial or capital equipment context. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or engineering is typically expected. Candidates who can demonstrate direct exposure to wholesale distribution models or OEM supply chains are well-positioned.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for a Business Development role at Stiles?
If you're targeting EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, the PERM labor certification process alone can take six months to over a year before USCIS adjudication begins, so initiating conversations well before your current status expires is essential. For F-1 OPT candidates, confirm your remaining OPT window covers the USCIS processing timeline, and flag CPT availability to the hiring team if your program permits it.
