Frame your background around Intel's ecosystem
Intel's Business Development roles focus on partnerships in semiconductor, data center, and AI hardware markets. Tailor your resume to show deal structures, alliance management, or go-to-market execution within electronics or adjacent tech supply chains, not general sales experience.
Understand how Intel handles LCA filings for BD
Business Development roles at Intel often span multiple office locations or involve remote work arrangements. The Department of Labor requires a certified Labor Condition Application for each worksite, so clarify your primary work location during the offer stage before paperwork begins.
Prepare for competency-based interviews tied to revenue impact
Intel's Business Development hiring panels assess strategic thinking through past deal outcomes. Document specific partnership wins, revenue milestones, or contract negotiations you led, since interviewers will probe for quantifiable business impact, not just relationship management experience.
Search verified Intel sponsorship openings through Migrate Mate
Sponsored Business Development roles at Intel don't always surface on general job boards with clear visa eligibility signals. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Intel positions confirmed to support visa sponsorship, so you're not applying blind.
Negotiate your start date around USCIS processing realities
If Intel files an H-1B petition on your behalf, standard USCIS processing can run several months. Build that window into your start date conversation during the offer stage so neither side is caught off guard by adjudication timelines.

Find Business Development at Intel JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Intel sponsor H-1B visas for Business Developments?
Yes, Intel sponsors H-1B visas for Business Development roles. Intel participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery each April, so timing your application process to align with that cycle matters. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, Intel can file an H-1B transfer, letting you start work once USCIS receives the petition.
How do I apply for Business Development jobs at Intel?
Applications go through Intel's careers portal at intel.com/jobs. Filter by function or business group to find Business Development openings. You can also browse Intel's verified sponsorship-eligible roles on Migrate Mate, which surfaces positions specifically tagged for visa sponsorship. Tailor your application to the specific business unit, whether that's network and edge, client computing, or data center.
Which visa types does Intel commonly use for Business Development positions?
Intel sponsors H-1B visas most frequently for Business Development professionals, along with E-3 visas for Australian citizens and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals. For longer-term pathways, Intel supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for eligible employees. F-1 OPT and CPT holders can also be hired while completing degree programs, and J-1 sponsorship is available in some cases.
What qualifications does Intel expect for Business Development roles?
Intel's Business Development positions typically require a bachelor's degree in a field like business, engineering, or computer science, with advanced degrees common for senior roles. Hands-on experience in semiconductor, hardware, or enterprise technology partnerships carries more weight than general sales backgrounds. Familiarity with Intel's product lines, including CPUs, FPGAs, or AI accelerators, helps differentiate candidates during interviews.
How do I time my application if my visa or work authorization is expiring soon?
If you're on F-1 OPT, apply to Intel Business Development roles at least six months before your OPT expires to allow enough runway for H-1B registration and USCIS processing. For H-1B transfers from another employer, Intel can file and you can begin work upon receipt. USCIS offers premium processing for faster adjudication, which Intel may elect depending on business need.
